Dickies Men's Midweight Fleece Full Zip Hooded Sweatshirt

The sizes fit as expected. My chest measures 46" so I ordered an XL and it fit great. The hood is a little too big, and I have a big block head lol. I go lobstering and I bought this jacket specifically for this. I had to wear a rain coat over this jacket, and in one day this sweatshirt already started to pill up. I had hoped to buy 1 or 2 more of these jackets, but it doesn't seem like they will hold up very long. For $42 I had hope it would be a little more rugged. I may update this review in a month or two to say how it's holding up. (Edit Dec 12 2019) the jacket is holding up just fine. I've washed it 8 or 10 times. The pilling on the cuffs was minimal and didn't get worse. I was afraid the entire jacket would pill up like crazy, but that was not the case. I am buying another one soon. I increased my rating from 3 to 4 stars.

I usually grab a sweatshirt when I need one from Wally World - one of those thin, inexpensive, Chinese-made sweats. Wanted a heavier-weight sweatshirt, but less heavy than the ultra-dense ones by Carhartt, and this fits the bill.Chinese-made sweatshirts are always smaller than expected and I got into the habit of buying them in extra-large to allow for a small amount of shrikage and for adding layers when needed. I ordered this in XL, too.It's big on me. Not nasty, objectionable BIG, just true to size.The material is top-notch, densely woven with a slight sheen. The zipper is substantial and operates smoothly. And, at last, pockets deep enough to be useful. The material is more wind-resistent and warmer than the oter brands I normally buy, and it's exactly the heavier-but-not-heavy weight that I wanted.Three washings hasn't caused any pilling or fading. I like it.I wish the dark heather grey color was available from Amazon.com - I'd happily buy another in that color.Good value for a sweatshirt I'll still be wearing three years from now, and maybe longer. Recommended.

I bought another Dickies' jacket recently in Large, it was a little bit on the tighter side so I went with XL for this sweatshirt. Fit overall is exactly how I'd want it, BUT, the hood is abnormally large, and the drawstring really doesn't do enough to cinch it down. Even with the zipper zipped all the way up, drawstring pulled, the hood is still very loose, flappy at the sides of my head, wind flows right in, which defeats a lot of the purpose of the hood.Still giving it 5 stars because the fit, materials, quality are on point, good value for the money. J

Good solid color hooded sweatshirt sans huge manufacturer logos and extra unnecessary add-ons. It is an "old school" basic sweatshirt that is just heavy enough for central Arizona chilly nights and frosty mornings. Yet it is light enough to tuck underneath an unlined jacket for colder weather. Fit is perfect, the zipper works, the pockets are generous and the hood is big enough for my head and a light knit cap. Oh, and the price was reasonable. Dickies delivered another good serviceable product at a working man's price.

was being 'cheap' so went with this as a replacement to an older carhartt - trying to save $15 and ended up wasting $33 on this hoodie.if you want something to just keep the chill off this'll work, but i typically use when doing chores/work inside/outside - and this hoodie tore very easily. the carhartt hoodies are much more durable; so won't snag and tear as easily.i was cutting some firewood and this hoodie snagged on some bark and tore open - waste!!! what's the point of a hoodie if it's so fragile? i expected something more durable from a brand for 'work wear'.

I ordered different sizes of these Hoodies. They are well made and very warm. But, they are cut in the chest way too small. I always wear a Large in shirts and jackets and they fit fine. I am not a rotund person but, in this case I had to settle on an XL in order to have a little breathing room and now have sleeves longer than needed. But, these are nice hoodies for work, play. Just order the next size up. Made In Egypt.

For the price, this is certainly an adequate item of clothing but I was somewhat disappointed with the fit. The body of the hoodie is just a bit tight and the hood is larger than it needs to be. It is the size of the hood that is most bothersome. This is due to the gusset piece sewn between the two side pieces of the hood. Perhaps the large, loose hood was designed with the expectation that a hat would be worn under itt. Since the price of this garment was about half that of a similar style one from Carhardtt, and since I only wear this hoodie ooccasionally, it was worth what I paid for it.

This jacket is well made and has a good zipper. I did find that the hood was too big and cumbersome when not in use lying on my shoulders. All Dickies products I own are of high craftmanship and the warmth level described is very close. Ed
