I was a little nervous about this purchase but I needed a inexpensive storage solution for my garage. I very rarely write reviews but this is a winner in my book. It was a little difficult to put together but all the screws lined up fine and I assembled it in about an hour. There is so much storage compared to the shelving I was using before. The cabinet once assembled and loaded is very sturdy. I loaded it up with all my stuff which includes various gallon containers and other heavy stuff. If I had more room I would definitely buy another one in a heartbeat. You can't beat it for the price. 9 month update: Still great. No issues at all. If this is still available, I would buy this cabinet. Paint has held up well.

Easy to put together but the locking mechanism is low quality. I constantly have to jiggle the key around to get it locked and unlocked. The metal that the cabinet is made of is on the thinner side which isn't a problem BUT the door bows a bit and that means I need to hold the top and bottom of the door flush to ensure the locking pins engage. It was cheap and holds a lot. It looks good from afar so that's enough for me to be happy with it. Just know that getting it opened and closed is finicky.

I bought 3 of the 42-inch tall cabinets for miscellaneous storage. Kudos to the engineers who figured out how to design these cabinets to be assembled entirely with screws, so theoretically one only needs a screwdriver to put it together. The unit comes with everything needed for assembly, including a small screwdriver, but I found the assembly went more quickly when I overcame my laziness and got out my cordless impact driver. I just had to be careful to not over-tighten. It's true that the metal panels are thin enough to bend without too much effort, but once it is assembled, the cabinet seems solid enough. Just be careful during assembly (the instructions recommend having two people do the assembly because it is more "fun"). I laughed at the final page of assembly instructions for the handle. I think the translator just got tired. Essentially it says to just look at the pictures and put it together. Honestly it's not that difficult to figure out. The units function as promised and hold a bunch of weight on each shelf--just what I wanted. (Now my cats can't chew holes in the new kibble bags!) I have a couple nit-picky complaints, like the latch mechanism seems somewhat finicky, and if I wasn't being careful during assembly, it was too easy to bend the panels. I must say, however, that the packing is impressive, with components and Styrofoam all perfectly married in as little space as possible.

I hardly write reviews but this deserves one. Bottom line, I highly recommend this cabinet. This product is as advertised. If the description fits your needs, you will not be disappointed. Read on if you want by back story and detailed review... I ordered 2 cabinets to use for pantry items. I needed something functional, durable, would close with a latch of some sort, and not break the bank. This fit the bill. Given other reviews with different manufacturers for similar item, I was skeptical on what these would actually be like when I got them. Post covid, quality seems like an after thought with anything these days. 1. The packaging was just incredible. This product could easily get damaged beyond repair in shipping. Both boxes arrived in tact and every piece in each box was absolutely perfect. The boxes are shipped with protective metal framing and styrofoam spacers. Each piece carefully packaged inside in such a way to limit any movement to prevent damage. 2. The assembly instructions - all pictures. I was ok with this and found them easy to follow. I put both cabinets together in about an hour and 15 minutes by myself. I am a female/5'4/135lbs. Each box was a bit heavy (about 90 lbs) which may be a challenge for some. Everything you need, including tools, is included in the box. Even a pair of gloves so you dont get finger or hand prints all over the cabinets (I ordered black ones so this was a thoughtful add). 3. Shelves are very strong. I have piled in canned good, cases of beverages, storage of my small kitchen appliances like kitchenaid mixer, food processor, instapot, Ninja mixer, etc), and these shelves aren't even flexing. An opportunity for manufacturer, I would suggest to offer a more fashionable option. This is nit-picking. I will take function or fashion anyday when it comes to storage.

I’ve purchased this product three times before with no issues, but this fourth one was a disaster. It arrived with missing hardware, no manual, and the online version didn’t even match the product I received. There were dents, poor build quality, and the overall construction felt cheap, a far cry from the previous versions. It’s incredibly frustrating, especially since I had already opened the box and started assembling it before realizing all the issues. Unless you’re very mechanically inclined, putting this together will be a nightmare without proper instructions or all the parts. I’ll be reaching out to Amazon to request reimbursement, because this product should not have passed inspection, let alone been sold.
