I’ve only used the gooseneck so far. I was surprised at how well this worked for my kayak trip. It is easy to adjust yet holds in place most of the time. If you bend it too far, the little balls can snap apart, but you just pop them back together like a kids toy. The limitation is weight: attaching a juice box (power pack) below my gopro was too much. It would start to bend to one side. It may do fine with a smaller power pack as the juice box is huge and heavy. I’m sorry I don’t have a photo of the kayak set up, but you can see it set up on a motor boat. The clamp is without a doubt super strong and reliably sturdy. It is best for attaching to something close to 3/4 of an inch in diameter or wider. I could only use the plastic buckle to one of the hatch straps to mount it to on my kayak. It was only a half inch thick. To keep the clamp from slipping around if I bumped the boat, I wrapped a bungy cord around the base above the clamp, which was perfect. I must have used this a dozen times in a week, attaching it and removing it, bending it every which way, and it never slipped. I only popped it apart once when I stretched it past its limits. It wasn’t a problem to pop it back in place without any degradation. I added a quick release mount for the camera attachment.

Used this to mount my Eufy SoloCam S220 higher on the rain gutter for a wider view of the yard. The clamp locks on tight and hasn’t budged, even in wind and rain. The gooseneck is sturdy and stays exactly where you bend it. The screw fits the camera perfectly. Super easy, super secure. Ended up buying more for the rest of my cameras.

**Update** We updated our review because the vendor made things right by sending us a replacement unit to include an additional piece to fix the damage unit. . We were not expecting a replacement because of the age of the purchase(almost a year). We are grateful for the replacement unit and because of the customer service we received, we would recommend this vendor. Original Post Connecting portion split and separated from the base. I was fortunate enough to have been able to grab my GoPro camera before it feel on the highway while riding our motorcycle. We Owned the mount a little over 7 months, in that timeframe, we used it only around 5 times on a motorcycle.

Literally perfect, wanted it to record content. Has a good grip to clip it where i want It. Plus it holds my phone and it’s super sturdy!

Eh...very difficult to squeeze, even with both hands. My husband is very strong and had issues, I was using both hands which is counter productive, and I felt bones pop! The neck is tight, the clamp seems very durable but the opening isn't deep enough for me to feel I can put the weight of an action camera on it, it kind of wants to roll toward the weight - there are not teeth inside to grip, just a rubber type thing. Also mine was missing the little screw attachment at the top, possibly had been a return and it got left out. Sorry, but returning it.

i had seen several reviews on this stating the plastic felt cheap and broke easily and i was hesitant to purchase. i’m glad i took the chance because the product is sturdy, easy to manipulate to get my gopro in the right spot and is equally useful with the second 1/4” thread too i can put my cold shoe camera flash on it and clamp it anywhere when i’m photographing a wedding. the clamp is very strong - the extra rubber strap really holds things up in place great product. super flexible and strong. impressed with it
