Thomson Elite Seatpost Black, 27.2/330mm

I've been using thomson elite seatposts for several years--maybe this is the 4th I bought. They're very durable, look good, and are easy to adjust. I'm not a fan of carbon seat posts even though I've been riding carbon bikes for years. The aluminum post is just more durable and easier to work with.

Light weight strong seatpost is what I wanted. Need to lighten as I carry my electric bicycle up and down flights of narrow stairs.With the new saddle and the Thomson Seatpost I saved another half pound of weight. Bicycle weighted 37.7 pounds without the pedals installed when it was unpacked and assembled. Bicycle now weighs 34 pounds, I still need to replace the Gates belt drive alloy spider and crank arms with carbon fiber to lose a bit more weight.
