We’ve been buying these for the last 6 months or so and sometimes they taste different or are bigger pieces than the last ones but this time I can’t even stand to smell them let alone eat them. There’s a very, very, strong chemical smell and taste to them. It’d be nice to get a refund since they’re inedible but it’s food products so what can you do.

Melatonin is really helpful and great for sleep. Sadly. You need to give your body a break , you can't use it forever.
