Works great to contact repeater 6 miles away
I measured the length of the antenna at 14.75 inches which is below the standard 15.3". However, I don't know if there is a coil in the base. I can easily contact a repeater that is 6 miles away (while sitting in my apartment) and someone replying to a radio check said I'm loud and clear on my Baofeng UV-5R GMRS radio. I also receive other calls very clear. The antenna is very flexible and can be bent without damage. Unfortunately, I don't have a SWR meter to test but I'm happy with it.

Good Quality Antennas For Three Different Frequencies
I liked these antennas overall, however the radio I had was not actually capable of transmitting on the 220 frequency as I had originally thought it was. These appear to be well made antennas, and are quite long, for extended range. They are a bit on the super flex side of things. That might be good for some folks in that you don't really have to worry about breaking them if you bend them. Getting a two pack for the price was a good deal too.

Great purchase for antenna and price.
Great Antenna!! SWR reading was a 1.1 when tested.

Good on 220 & 440 but 4.5:1 SWR on 2m.
This is the only tri-band antenna I've tried so far that actually works on 220 MHz. All the others have been dual band antennas with SWR of > 50:1 on 220 MHz. This antenna has a very good match on 220 MHz (1.32:1) and is okay on 440 MHz (about 2:1). It does resonate on 3 bands but unfortunately, on 2m the SWR is 4.5:1. The lowest SWR on VHF was 2.35:1 on 116 MHz. The base is rather wide and may not engage your radio all the way. I tried it on a Baofeng UV5R and it engaged but just barely but on a Pofung and Tidradio radios, the antenna won't screw in far enough to make contact. On the Tidradio TD-F6, the antenna won't screw on at all; it hits the bezel of the LED (see photo).

2 Meter Band.... Not So Much.
I really really wanted to like this antenna, and wanted it to work at least reasonably well across the 3 bands advertised. However, upon using the antenna, I kept getting reports of my transmissions periodically breaking up, even when outside, on high power, and utilizing a repeater that's a mere 4 miles away I can hit with 1W of power. So, I knew something was up and when I dug deeper with the NanoVNA and the Surecom SW33 Plus, I found my answer. I ordered a 2 pack of these, and they both perform and tested identically, with performance and SWR on the 440Mhz (70cm) band and the 220Mhz (1.25M) bands being excellent, with SWR's of 1.5:1 or lower across the entire band. The 144Mhz (2M) band was a different story though, with 3.5:1 being the BEST SWR I could find with the NanoVNA, and 2.9:1 with the SW33 Plus. While I understand that most HT's are capable of dealing with higher SWR's, I don't feel that comfortable transmitting on the 2M band using this antenna anymore. I'll keep them, and even use the, as they do work excellent on 220/440, but stick to their NA-771 dual band if you don't need the 220 band.

Highest SWR reading with this antenna is 1.05:1
I have (2) Wouxun KG-905G GMRS radios. They came with a stock stubby antenna which I measured at 1.4 and 1.5:1 SWR. When replaced with this portable GMRS antenna, my readings were 1.0 and 1.05:1. That is a perfect and near perfect match, you couldn't ask for better, especially at this price.

Walkie Talkie Antenna NA-320A Triband: low SWR on all three bands
This review is for the Walkie Talkie Antenna NA-320A Triband Antenna: I checked the SWR on all three bands using a recently acquired VNA. It was low on all three bands. I was able to hit a repeater on 2 meter that is about 15 miles away that I can't hit with the included antenna with the Baofeng triband HT. The antenna fits on the Baofeng HT without the need for the included rubber washer. The antenna is long so the HT is a little unstable when standing up on a table. I am glad the antenna works since switching antennas to use the 1-3/4 meter band is a pain.

Works as it should
Bought a few of these for some tri-band radios I own. There was a slight improvement in signal, as expected. The best part is that the radios I own had a separate antenna for the 220 band, which was a royal pita. Now one antenna and all 3 bands are covered!
