Salon System Just Wax Vanilla Cream Wax with an Intoxicating Aroma of Vanilla 450g

This is a great wax! I've used many local over the counter waxes before and tended to use Veet Sugar for my legs but found it messy and a pain to keep reheating. I tried hard wax and was 'meh' about it so wanted to try a cream strip. I came across this and read the reviews, the price was reasonable so thought I'd give it a go. I was not disappointed. Originally I was going to try heat it up in the microwave but decided to use the heater method instead, it took a while but soon it got to a nice runny honey consistency. It applied smoothly and evenly and wasn't too hot, I laid the first strip and snatched it off.... et voila! all hair gone and any bit of residue easily dabbed off. Having it in the heater kept it at the right temperature and consistency, I could imagine it becoming a little hard to use once it begins to cool down as it is very sticky, but as it stood for me it was perfect. I found I could use the same strip a few times without too much issue so instead of my usual mega load of strips to do my legs, I only used about 12 which is great. There was a couple of times the wax didn't come away and tended to fluff up but I think that was due to the cheap strips I was using, this only happened maybe 3 times and pulled clear after a couple of attempts. I rarely had to re go over a spot as it took all the hairs out first time, even around the knee area which impressed me. I've not tried this on my bikini line yet but I'm looking forward to doing that soon.. I may update when I do. There wasn't much residue left behind after I'd finished, only a few tiny spot which was easily removed with oil. I didn't think much of the scent, reminded my of a cheap vanilla candle, not much substance to it but it's not unpleasant. In conclusion I'm super happy with this wax.. at the right consistency it does the job extremely well with little to no residue or hair left behind.

Amazing wax for use with strips. I was beginning to look like a yeti & wanted to wax my legs but had no idea what wax to get to use with strips as I don’t like the stripless wax at all. I saw mixed reviews but knew I’d seen the name before plus I LOVE the smell of vanilla so thought sod it. So glad I did! Once I’d resisted the urge to eat the pot of wax, I started going about the business of removing the impressively man-like hair from my legs. I steeled myself for the first ‘pull’ & it didn’t hurt a bit! Plus, EVERY SINGLE HAIR WAS REMOVED! That’s NEVER happened for me before as I alternate between shaving & waxing. There was no mess, I was just careful & I found it to be creamy more than sticky but it’s got to be a bit sticky or it wouldn’t work for god sake! Anyway, I must have used a good 20 strips on my legs & the pot has barely gone down at all. If you’re wanting to get a warm wax that you use with strips, this is the bad boy; I’ll definitely be buying again.

Lovely wax to work with. I have dark hair and this worked really well on arms, legs and bikini line. It’s a nice smell too. Not too runny either which helps with drips unlike the standard wax. Will definitely get again.

I heated it up by putting the container in a pot of boiling water and leaving it to soften for about 25 minutes because I don't have a wax heater. Worked well PROS - not hot on the skin - very easy to remove - no irritation or redness after waxing - useable on bikini line without much pain - lasts a long time because only a thin layer of wax is needed to remove the hair CONS - if there's excess on your skin it might be a bit tricky to remove but I just used oil and it worked okay BUY THIS WAX!!!

I tried this wax on my hands, and the cream wax spots just wouldn’t come off no matter what I tried—soap, body wash, oil, nothing worked. It was really frustrating and messy. Definitely not recommended if you want an easy and clean waxing experience.

It would be a very good wax but it's so sticky it's very hard to use. It does not hurt as many other waxes do, but it is extremely sticky and hard to spread. If you drop it it's almost impossible to clean. It smells nice and it's extremely delicate on the skin. If it wasn't SO sticky I'd definitely buy it again. If you want to warm it up in the microwave you can, however it takes quite a long time.

Very good wax, goes on very smooth and comes off leaving very little residue. Ignore the other reveiw as she obviously doesn't know how to use it! You dont reuse strips by washing them with this wax you just throw them away afterwards! This wax comes off well even with wax build up on the strip so I get half a leg done with just one before I need a fresh one. I use for all waxing even hollywood in my salon, as its not as sticky and awkward for bikini as hunny wax. Has a pleasant smell, (not as nice as options white chocolate 😍) but thats my personal taste. Lasts a good while too, I get a few full legs and lots of facial waxing out of one pot as you can get a really thin even film if you apply it right which makes it go a lot further. All in all one of the best, and Iv used a lot of different brands through the years as a beauty therapist!
