The product has bends in corners that had to hammered out with a mallet. The instructions it came with were not clear, very distorted, and incorrect. It's easier to assemble first with the bolts very loose and then attempt to align with the receiver points and adjust all peices for positioning and height. The receiver hitch hole was obviously not tested as a hitch will not fit in it as the holes for the receiver pin were not grinded down after they drilled the holes making for a tight and bower inner lip preventing any hitch from being installed. I'd buy better quality used or new as you'd probably rather pay more for the headaches this process and product would bring.

Pretty impressed considering it's the cheapest offroad WJ bumper on Amazon. Great fitment with lots of room for adjustments. Finish is easily scraped off so buy a can of touch up paint. Arrived with 2 small places where the paint rubbed off in shipping. Bonus - it came in foam sheet that's perfect for laying on when installing bumper.

Not build for strength. But for the price looks better than the plastic bumper.

Bought it thinking I would have a stronger bumper with a receiver hitch... It doesn’t hang down far enough to hide things under the jeep like the plastic bumperAs you can see in the picture.By the way this is on an 04 grand Cherokee

I really do think that this is a great bumper/set of bumpers! Between the built in hitch receiver, powder coating, and the super solid design, this bumper pretty much has it all. However, be sure to double check that the brackets are in the correct position before tightening everything down because the directions basically say “Connect part A to part B, then connect part AB to part C.” and the pictures resemble Rorschach ink blots. So I’ll say again, check those mounting brackets because I stupidly didn’t bother to until I had to take it all back off at the end upon realizing my stupidity. Otherwise I freaking love this bumper/set of bumpers and I definitely feel safer than I did when I had the flimsy plastic stock bumpers. Absolutely worth the money, time, and energy. Great bumpers to get for your Jeep WJ that won’t break the bank, won’t weigh it down so much that it makes your lift obsolete, rugged as hell, provide much better protection for occupants and the uni-body “frame” of vehicle, and provides loads of extra clearance for your tires. I’m running 33’s w/ 2” lift in the front and 3” lift in the rear, and I’ve had ZERO issues with tire rub since putting these bumpers on. Highly recommend for any build, budget or otherwise.
