I've had two of them, now. If I hadn't been in a pinch, I'd have ordered a third. First one lasted three seasons, through LOTS of Carp and BIG channel cats that were probably too big for it. I broke the second one through no fault of the manufacturer :-(. When my current landing net wears out (I tend to put them through their paces), I intend to purchase another Frabill. I love the netting material. Never gets snagged on hooks, barbs or fins. Seems very good for the fish, since I release nearly everything I catch. Compact, sturdy, and well made. Great products. Great company.

Didn't expect it to be this large. This thing is huge!! And taller than me extended. I'm 5'2" this is 71* extended. Great quality; definitely a win, win!!! Plan on finding a way to attach a rope to go around my arm.

Very disappointed. This is an expensive net. The push button that collapses the handle broke and the net came apart. Now it’s Useless. Used it maybe two dozen times. Based on other bad reviews this is a common problem.

I recently used this net on a fishing trip to Northern Quebec. I fish primarily for walleyes with jigs.I still experienced tangles with jigs, to the point that it took me 15 minutes or more to untanglethe jig from the net. This happened more than once. The webbing is way too light. It is best to purchasethe older style rubber coated heavy netting.And if you fished with hard baits, my experience was even worse.

Getting the hang of center pinning for steelhead and loving it. In most cases I'm fishing alone and with a 14" rod this fits the bill for solo landing of fish. Collapses enough i can hang off back of my vest and have both hands free for other things when moving.

Mega net, works great

I like the net. I did have a small shark chew a hole through it but was able to repair it.

Great net but it has a little slop in the yoke but doesn't seem to affect it. Perfect for large walleyes and bigger northerns.
