Although I loke the sheen this peel and stick presents, it does need adhesive to stay in place. I watched and heard it removing itself l. It was not a pleasant sound actually it was annoying because I could not figure out where the random sound was coming from. So if you want this for wall decor be mindful it requires additional adhesive and it may not lay as it should.

I just peeled off the backing and stuck it on-no tools, no messy glue, no stress. The material is thick, durable, and cleanable, so I can easily wipe it down with a damp cloth. It was also incredibly forgiving, and I could reposition it easily without losing a stickiness. This wallpaper is a must-have for any home. It's the perfect blend of style, functionality, and simplicity. It does not wrinkle and it is very forgiving and easily repositionable. I couldn't be happier with this purchase!! 💯 5⭐

I was going to give this 2 stars but read on to see why I raised my rating. I purchased 2 of these rolls. One light gold and one silver color. The quality of both was significantly different. Both overall are a super thin mylar type materials on a very thin backing liner. Despite being so thin, the material itself is super strong and does not stretch or tear easily (unless there is a cut started, then it will rip). If you cut it carefully and not leave a slit somewhere, then it is strong and does not rip. The biggest problem I had was that the adhesive was not very strong. On the gold one, it was acceptable, but I wish it was stronger. On the silver one, it barely had any tack at all. It would not even stick to a piece of paper. It was as though the adhesive had lost its tackiness with age or storage. When you unroll the silver one, the material would start separating from its own backing and ripple and wrinkle. This was a big problem for me due to my usage of this where I was cutting it into small sections and needed it to remain smooth without wrinkles. It was frustrating but fortunately when I contacted the seller about the problem, they offered to replace or refund it. So I chose that and for the customer servicce standing behind the product I will give them the benefit of doubt and maybe I just got a bad batch.

My partner installed this and she used to be a professional installer of decals. She said the product is HORRIBLE and "not a good product to work with." Doesn't deserve even one star. She said the backer is too thin & sticky. The product sticks to itself and tears if you try to separate it. We had purchased it before for inside a bar cabinet and loved it. It was more like wallpaper then. It's now like metal foil. Just wanted to brighten up an area for bath towels if you look up. Now, we see wrinkles. And, yes, she poked holes in the bubbles and tried working them back out. They are probably areas where the product stuck to itself, she said. And, she was working that ceiling surface on a table so it couldn't have been in an easier position. And we don't have enough to retry. If you have no experience working with sticky decal material, DO NOT attempt to use this. Even difficult for professionals. It might be okay for crafting if you are cutting out small shapes.

Gosh, I wish I had done a before and after!! I have a decade-old stainless steel trash can whose top has seen better days. No matter the scrubbing, the top part just always looked a little grim. So I thought - why not? Why shouldn’t I try to mask it with a bit of this peel and stick? And wouldn’t you know it - in 4 minutes, the trash can looks BRAND NEW. I was so excited, I made my boyfriend get up from the couch and come look. He thought I had discovered a miraculous new cleaning method to buff the top of the trash can clean - you really can’t tell that it isn’t original! So so happy with it. And if it needs replacing down the line, I have a whole roll for touch ups. Genius idea!

It’s durable and wrinkle resistant. However it didn’t stick to the surface well and could easily be peels off. It would probably work better for a flat surface but when it comes to rounded edges the flips would eventually start peeling.

These are real nice and exactly as described. They have an easy peel back. I love it. It's waterproof and easy to clean.

I love this gold paper but its a nightmare applying, it bubbles it creases and you need to be just soooo careful otherwise ending up throwing another sheet away ..problem .. it sticks to itself so easily .. still having said all that I do love it for it's 'bling' factor!

Very bad product. Will not stick no matter what you do. I regret buy. DO NOT BUY
