Using it from past four months.. and its very wonderful product for kids

Though I have given the watch a 4-star rating, please read the review fully to understand why.purchased a Turret Gator watch, which looked pleasant and rugged for a kid.When it reached me, I tried everything, but the Jio SIM didn't work in it, despite the company claiming(in the description) it works with Airtel, Jio, and few more operators.Turret customer support told Jio wouldn't work in this model. I had read the complete description and then only purchased it and was not at fault. Amazon customer support also could not help in any way on this.I was ready to post a tweet to Amazon about the whole saga. However, Turret current support executive contacted me and agreed to give me a better model (which was costlier than this) in which Jio SIM works.After a lot of back and forth on WhatsApp, everything got finalised, and they sent me the new watch, and I sent them the old watch back.Again, there were problems with one Jio sim, which I wanted to use, but luckily other Jio sims worked, and I got saved this time(so in case you are finding issues with sim just try changing another number for the same operator)Now I will quickly share the watch's pros and cons below:#Rugged for day-to-day usage#Voice calling is very good (mic and speaker clarity are like a feature phone) – ‘Best feature’#Video calling is decent but mostly laggy and becomes impractical when needed#The battery gives one day of backup on moderate usage; however, if you customise a few options, it may get extended for a few more hours#The voice chat feature is very useful instead of calling the kid every time and disturbing their attention. – ‘2nd Best feature’#10 contacts can be added via the App (I expected a few more, but I think it’s enough for kids)Binding of this watch for admin stuff with mother, father, and other people (they all need to install the SeTracker2 app)#Some quick utilities given in the Phone App are useful at times, like playing sound on the watch, rejecting unknown calls, Remote photo capture, checking on SMSs, SoS call etc#Jio and Airtel sim worked fine (I personally found a few features worked faster with Airtel SIM)Points to notice-#GPS is not as accurate as one would expect, no matter if you use this watch inside or outside#Video calls are not a practical feature in watches and don’t often require them (camera clarity is like the olden days 2 MP smartphone camera)#The app is supported by ads, which are annoying; however, one can get them removed by paying an extra amount (approx. 260 rs)#Only one math game is there#Just 4 boring watch faces, and one cannot add more by any means#Only 24-hour time format is available, and it can’t be changed (though I was told a technical SMS command to the number could get this done, but it did not work)#I was told WhatsApp would work on this watch; to date, I don’t know how!#Its just another Chinese watch with the Chinese software and app company doesn’t have control on upgrades etcVerdict-If you want to track your kid, ensure their safety, etc., and don’t want to give them a mobile phone for the same, this is the best alternativeThe calling and Chat features will get the job done; don’t rely on all other gimmicky features from any brandI might have given it three stars based on the features and price one paid, but due to the out-of-the-way support given by Turret executives, I am giving it fourThis fulfil your basic need of tracking and being in touch with kid hence you can give it a try however I suggest explore all the options

1. Watch is good but has some consCons:1. This watch doesnt work properly with jio sim card as answer given by turet customer service.( I havent tried with other sim yet once done will write the proper review)2. App has too much of advertisement need to keep skipping them.3. If you are using jio sim location tracking doesnt work properly and video call also doesnt work.These things were not mentioned while purchasing.I dont understand when the watch has been designed to monitor the kids ( GPS, CALLS VIDEO, SCREEN SHOT) WHY APP WAS NOT PROVIDED WITHOUT ADVERTISEMENT.4. THERE IS NO SPACE TO take more screeshots.( 2 or 3 max) after that we have to delete.5. No space for pictures.

Very disappointed after purchasing the watch. I wanted to give this watch as a birthday gift for my kid. Jio sim is not working with this watch. Customer care said it is clearly mentioned in amazon. But i do not see anywhwere even now.App is coming with ads which i am surprised. Why on earth we have to see all these ads in a product we purchased. Location and video calls are not upto the mark. This gadget doesnt excite the kids neither parent. Its a waste of Money. Want to give rating as 0.5 but 1 is the least.

The media could not be loaded.  After a few months of use, the watch is running great. Proudly recommending this watch to all the parents.For installation, you can call or Whatsapp the customer support team. Easily available.App is fine. All features are working without any issues.Warranty is 1 year. Faced some minor charging issues, got it rectified for free. Really amazed to see the team is keeping its promise of said warranty. Else you cannot expect this service in today's Ecommerce scenario.Audio call quality is top notch. Plus you can block the unknown numbers.Video calls always work decently. Screen size is also big, which adds to the video calling experienceGPS is working without any problem, I can track my son when he is outside.Battery backup as claimed is one day. Which is fine for us.Geofencing - Havn’t used it much.As parents we are more relaxed and relieved since the watch has arrived.Once again I need to appreciate the service provided whenever I reach the seller.

The watch is super easy to use. The screen touch is great. There is only one math game so it doesn’t distract the child and doesn’t make them misuse the technology. The clarity of the voice call is great. The gps is ok efficient but not accurate to the T. In all a great product to be in touch with your child.

The watch does it's job for sure. Video calls are seamless. The only point to note is that it doesn't have backward compatibility with older versions. The brochure talks about 'Make friend' functionality by touching two watches. But it doesn't work. They didn't bother updating the brochure when the version was upgraded to include video calling. So, while video calling might seem cool to your child, if they wanted to use 'make friend' because their friend has it, there might be a moment of disappointment. Overall, it does it's job well.

Sim card is not recognized most of the time and time is never correct. Time keeps changing even after reseting everytime
