As of now they growing pretty nice. Put them.in my sunroom. They spoiled after a couple of days and after a week they had already growing two leaves

It is going to be very hard to maintain them and to let them grow. I think if you want to really try these best to start during summer times. I couldn’t put my act together to care these during the winter and lost it all. Also I noticed some seeds took a really long time to sprout probably depending on the variety/ flower color. But I don’t think these are for a beginner who is learning and trying to grow plants.

It’s been too cold here to try to get them to germinate. But I’ve heard nothing but good about them.

I had high hopes for these seeds. I have great luck in plants. My orchids bloom, my fichus tree needs to be cut back occasionally, my orange tree produces the best oranges, and my Star Jasmine releases the most beautiful aroma when it blooms every spring filling my whole apartment. So I was sure my lotus seeds would do well. All 10 of them sprouted. When they got roots I put them in planters as suggested in the directions. I bought substract soil for aquatic plants and also put some in garden soil as also recommended. It has been 2 months and all the plants are doing is sending out shoots that are decaying in the water even though I change it regularly to keep it from getting stagnant. I have searched the internet for directions and have done everything correct. So I cannot recommend this product.

Not all the seeds sprouted, one you may want to go to a garden shop for

8/10 success rate with the seeds. I recommend sanding the skin/shell on the end a little to allow for better water penetration to allow for germination. I recommend the seeds; good quality. No blooms yet, but healthy plants so far

I ordered this 10-pack of mixed bowl lotus seeds and was really impressed—9 out of 10 germinated, which is much better than I expected! After about 2 days, the seeds started sprouting, and by week four, each plant has 2–3 healthy leaves. I started them in a clear bowl on a west-facing windowsill, changing the water daily, and they thrived in that setup. Once they had leaves, I transplanted them to a larger outdoor bowl with water plant soil and placed it on my patio. They're continuing to grow well, and I’m really excited to see them flower in the coming weeks. The seeds were clearly viable and healthy, and they’ve been low-maintenance so far with consistent water changes and sunlight. Tip: Be patient the first few days, and don’t skip changing the water—it really helps prevent rot.

The bowel is very sturdy and did not leak. The lotus seeds that came with the bowl never amounted to anything. Year 2 I got seeds from another source and the grew lovely leaves but did not flower. I like in Eastern NY our summers have been hot and we easily had 70+ days of summer weather but no flowers. This was disappointing. Next summer I will just paint a regular plant in the bowl.
