Great quality mechanical watch. Very durable and looks good.

I love the Boyshiya's 40 mm case diameter and thin 10 mm depth. The quartz watch keeps near perfect time and is rugged enough to withstand two or three falls to a hard floor with no scratches or dents. The crystal has withstood several scrapes across rough surfaces without scratching. It is light and very comfortable to wear. I love the large clear hands, numbers and calendar. And, for a practical everyday watch it is very attractive, especially after I changed the stock watch strap for a similar synthetic strap that attaches at the lugs (the watches now sits flatter against my wrist). The strap I now use matches the color of the watch face. Of course, that's a personal preference.

Bought this in April, quit working Nov. I did a little research and found out that the 377A battery (A stands for Alkaline) that the watch comes with has a much shorter life span. I like the watch with date and time function and It was pretty easy to change out the battery. Online information states that the 377 can expect a 2 to 3 years life span in a watch. It s say's that the 377A is good for between 6 and 12 months. I got 8 months out of it. If they charged $20 instead of $17, it would be worth the extra cost.

I didn't have high expectations for a $21 watch I intended to use as a 'beater'. But it can't fulfill even that modest role. Main issue, is that my watch doesn't keep time. It looses about 5 minutes per day, which is beyond what I can accept for even a cheap watch. It looks nice. It just doesn't even remotely keep time. Planning to discard the watch, and use the strap on something else. CAN'T RECOMMEND!

I REALLY liked this watch! It kept time well and was easy for my 58 y/o eyes to read. Wouldn't you know, I switched out the band to a covered, military-styled one with velcro and when I used my teeth to loosen (what I thought was the velcro on my shirt sleeve), I undid the band instead and lost the watch somewhere in a 100 acres of woods - the very first time I wore it out of the house!!! Ugh! I'll get another one of these days because it was a great value and exactly what I was looking for.

I really liked this as a casual EDC watch until I tried to change the date. After April I had to change the date since the watch always assigns 31 days to a month. But when I changed the date (following the instructions which worked fine when I first received and set the watch) the day-of-week changed too. I cannot now change the day of week by itself. It changes as an unintended side effect of changing the date, but when I try to correct the d-o-w directly, the indicator moves part way to the next day and then slips back to its original setting. Still ok for a knock around watch, but I would not buy it again.

It's pretty, it's nice, it works HOWEVER I was a little too excited opening it that the watch fell out of the box it came in and immediately cracked the face. A bit disappointing but that happens when you're looking for a watch on a budget. A little scared to water test it but if I do I will edit this review.

I am very impressed with the quality and build of this watch. The watch itself is very heavy, nice thick stem to adjust the time and date. This feels like and looks like a watch that could sell for mich .k h made. It does not look cheap at all. The band is also of high quality. I would buy this watch again, a different version. Very recommended!

Cumple con las expectativas. Muy bonito a la vista. El mecanismo deja un poco qué desear en cuanto al cambio de día/fecha... tarda 3 horas después de media noche en cambiar.
