Good Stuff
Works well, lasts a long time. Doesn't make you fart much.

Best value, well worth trying.
Inulin is a polymer of fructose, (a component of sugar, sucrose), but unlike starch, a polymer of glucose, it cannot be digested and absorbed. It is however a valuable contribution to our intake of dietary fibre and helps to maintain a good balance of healthy bacteria. I find that a heaped teaspoon (approximately 5g) on my breakfast cereal daily helps with bowel function and sleep quality. This is the first time I’ve tried this brand, but it appears to be identical to more expensive ones, so why pay more?

Caused strong allergic reaction
I started with the chewy sweet version of inulin but put down my ‘hay fever’ to just that. Swapping to this powder seemed a cheaper option as I still hoped to get benefits but the reaction was overwhelming, sadly. Anti allergy tablets had no effect and I was really miserable. Three days after stopping taking the inulin my life was normal again. I found the powder so easy to take - dissolves in a cup of tea or coffee so easily, or sprinkled on cereal- but I didn’t really notice any digestive benefits, sadly. But be careful if you are someone who is prone to hay fever as you might not be able to take this.
