I bought this and other things for my grandma for her first pet bird. I’ll provide a picture of when we took her bird to HomeDepot. It’s great for outings, vet visits or simply to have for anything one might need with so the bird doesn’t fly away. The quality is great. The size of it was perfect for her bird. The color of it my grandma loves. And the zipper was no issue. The design of it was perfect.

I needed a smaller carrier than a small bird cage to use for my cockatiel when he goes to the Vet each month for his beak/nails trim. This looked very promising and would have been perfect except for one thing. Both of the sides have to be zipped up for it to hold it's shape. If you unzip one side, it starts to sag down. I was hoping to be able to unzip one of the large sides at the Vets so they would have wider access to my bird. The side door is a good size and can be used instead, will have to be used so the structure stays up, but wished the side panels had a support frame that would allow one to be opened while keeping the carrier up well. I also need to be able to slide out the perch from the side so will look into another option there. The price is fantastic, there are many of these type of carriers around but liked that this one has one side solid and one side open, that can be covered easily so my bird will not be scared. The ventilation seems fine, you have holes on the bottom on both sides and the mesh side door also lets in fresh air. It is soft and will be comfortable for my bird while keeping him safe should he flail about. I will add some newspaper to the bottom to provide a place for droppings to go. Not sure how he will like it but for the cost it was worth a try....

Waited a bit before giving my review for if any of you are like me, my bird is a very important part of my family. Item was easy to assemble and spacious enough for my conure. Would not recommend for larger or medium sized birds for they will be cramped. Perfect for small birds like parakeets, finches, and even the smaller medium sized birds such as conures. I used it for a sun conure and it was just enough space. Was easy to clean after usage so that was one plus. Everything unzips amd opens to wipe out. Like that it had a storage pocket on outside and a decent padded carry handle. The bottom has a pull out silver foiled liner pad. Easy to clean but otherwise was not something I was overall pleased with. Birds like to pick and poke and pull at things. Mine wouldn't leave the liner alone and as such repeatedly was chewing upon the edges. Def can't withstand and frayed everwhere as well as all the seams came apart. The rest of the carrier seemed better built for the only thing that frayed was the liner. I'd suggest removing the liner and using something else in its place. Keep in mind this is a soft sided nonframed carrier as such when unzipped it falls in on itself. Even when fully zipped, it's not the sturdiest item. That said it folds up for storage and takes little space. Lastly the "windows" are only a thick plastic material so are probe to cracking, ripping, and can be chewed. I'd only recommend this for VERY short term usage...like going from one place to the next, maybe short flights and car rides. I would NOT recommend for longer distances or longer flights. It will get chewed up and possibly injure your feathered babies. All in all though for the pricing (which was under 25) it served its purpose for me. Needed it to move my baby from previous residence to a new home I recently purchased and it worked nicely. My baby had to be coaxed inside at first. I installed a perch she was already familiar with and once inside the first time she went in easily on her own after that. She did seem comfortable when inside and I like the fact you could add a perch so theyre not just on the floor. With some creativity you can also install a few toys utilizing the holes on top. My baby also liked being able to "see" through the windows. Will make a vet trip much easier as well.

Perfect for my tortoises! Comes with an adjustable strap, the pole & doggy bags. Has holes on top & sides as well as mesh on the sides so your animals won’t suffocate. There’s a removable sturdy bottom it just isn’t as big as the bag it’s a small square maybe you can put your own I’m going to add a mat for easier clean up when traveling. I recommend this bag especially because I bought it on sale for $8

I got this because my bird can no longer perch due to a disability. This is now his main cage and due to its portability, he goes everywhere with us and feels a part of our "flock". He used to be a timid bird and would bite but now he is much more tame. He sings and preens again now that he's not constantly struggling to stay on a perch. I noticed a difference in just a few days. It's too small to be a cage for active birds, but it has made my 11 year old budgie happier. Literally saved his life.

I like this carrier because it is a handy size and fits my African Red-bellied parrot perfectly.
