My daughter and I built this together and she had a blast. Super easy and great quality. Im a knife fanatic and this thing actually flips very nicely and is great!

Grandsons first knife
Helping teach him safety and responsibility. It is as safe as an almost real knife can be in my opinion. He loves it.

Nice little training knife
I bought this for my 10 yo son. Mostly for martial art knife training. It deploys okay. Main draw back is no pocket clip. Most folders have them. Good also to help him learn the mechanics of how a knife operates.

Gift for 9 year old
Purchased this as a gift for a 9 year old who loves knives. He is fascinated with knives as both his dad and uncle collect knives. He has been wanting one of his own and figuring instead of getting into trouble by getting hold of one he shouldn't have this one would be a perfect starter for him. After getting the all clear from his parents for him to have this one he was given this as a 9th birthday gift by his uncle. His uncle sat with him wile he put it together to make sure none of the small pieces got misplaced. He was able to put it together by himself and was thrilled that he had built it himself. His uncle then pulled out some knife oil and had him take it back apart then showed him where to oil it with a drop of oil and how to clean it. It took no time at all and he was flipping this knife open and close. It is a great knife to learn how a knife like this works along with how to respect it without slicing a finger open. He did shut it on his finger a couple times. He also liked the stickers that came with it and decorated his knife. We took a walk through the woods and he flipped the dang thing open and close the whole walk. The knife is sturdy and he was cutting up celery and carrots when we left. It didn't leave his hand in the 3 hours we were there. *Note that the knife does not come with oil.

Perfect starter knife for kids
But the one I got for my son came with a broken tip. Otherwise would’ve loved it

Gift for my Nephew
Wanted a practice knife for my nephew that wasn't sharp as he learns how to handle one. He loved putting it together with his dad and his twin brother is already asking for one. The lock is easy to operate for his little fingers. The blade won't cut anything (as expected), but it's a good tool for him to learn knife responsibility with.

My son wanted to carry a knife like all the adults he knows. This one fit the bill. He was able to put it together with a little help. The directions are mostly pictures. The real question is does it cut? It absolutely sorta does. He cuts apples, carrots, cheese, and potatoes ease. Oranges are difficult because they are squishy so he makes orange juice instead of slices. Same with tomatoes. He can open boxes too. The edge is blunt enough he can’t cut himself when he slips. It’s a pretty good trainer until he is ready for real steel
