I got tired of off the shelf mouth guards constantly falling out during kickboxing class. I started looking into getting a fitted dental mouth guard and was ready to spend the ridiculous $120-$150 to have one made. While searching for reviews on dental mouth guards, I came across OPRO instant custom fit mouth guards. The reviews seemed promising as a possible option to try. So, after a bit of pondering I figured I’d give one a try before dumping over a $100 on a dental mouth guard. The forming process was pretty much the same as any other mouth guard, but the addition of the dual form tool made forming easier and provided a tight fit. The mouth guard basically clicks in place and stays put. It takes a little force to pop it back out, which is exactly what I was looking for. The mouth guard in the forming tool is a bit bulky, so it’s a bit awkward to get in and out of your mouth. It’s taller and thicker than the standard run of the mill mouth guards, so it covers more area and provides better protection. I am very pleased so far with this mouth guard, so I ordered another for a backup spare. If someone is looking for a great custom fit mouth guard for MMA, kickboxing or other contact sports without dumping a small fortune on a dental mouth guard, OPTO instant custom fit mouth guards are a great bang for the buck option.

Genuinely a great product and super easy to set up.I was in a weird spot waiting on my dental office to get back to me on prices for mouth pieces for my kickboxing hobby and they were just taking too long.So until I am able to get a hyper customized mouth piece from them, I figured I'd protect my teeth with this until they figure all of that out. Super happy with my purchase. I feel like the padding is a bit excessive actually but makes sense considering its rated for combat sports. If you're used to slimmer mouth pieces, maybe look at other options. Product also comes with its own clear holder box too so you don't need to buy one separately. This is honestly a really easy and quick solution if you need a mouth piece sooner rather than later.

Great product, the process was super easy and the fit is great. I would’ve preferred if my molars hadn’t imprinted too hard like they did. Try a firm but not too hard of a bite when doing it.

My Taekwondo school goes to several tournaments a year. I needed a new mouthguard and I didn’t want to buy one cheep. As these are my teeth. So I bought this one. It comes with two trays, one to use to bite while forming it to your teeth and the others to help with the cool down. Perfect easy to read instructions. I definitely recommend this product as in my first tournament after getting this mouthguard a kick snuck in and got me in the mouth. What a save to my teeth. A big thank you to this 5 star seller.

The first one I ordered, I boiled and fitted according to instructions. It was fine for a day, but Two days after boiling and fitting the shape head shifted a bit so that long no longer fit in my mouth. I returned this one and got a replacement. The same thing happened with this replacement. It was fine for a day and then the fit changed. I actually tried re-boiling and re-fitting the second one, and that temporarily fixed the problem. However, it seems like the mold chants over time and is not stable. Unfortunately, both of these mouthguards had the same exact issue and made them unusable.

Follow the instructions and you'll have a perfect fitting mouth guard. I use it for boxing and got cracked hard in the jaw last night and it likely save me from concussion.I have a nasty gag reflex and unit doesn't trigger as much with this as it's not super bulky and doesn't extend too far past my back teeth.Ask yourself do you have a $7-15 brain or a $30 brain? The little bit extra is worth it imo.

Tried various shock doctors and underguard boil and bite mouthguards, this is levels above in terms of fit. Really snug fit to the point where you need to actually pull the mouthguard to get it off, and it's thin enough to comfortably breathe and speak. it's been holding up well for a month now with no material coming off, really worth the price.

The molding process is easy and convenient and the complete product is absolutely phenomenal. It has a great, tight fit that makes my teeth feel very well protected. Would buy this again any day!

I bought this mouthguard for my son who plays ice-hockey in the U13 and often with U15 age group where they already play sometimes hard contact.Due to the title “instant” the fitting process was supposed to be on the go but it is technologically the same as other “custom” fit mouth guards have - boil, heat, bite and cool. Neither fast nor instant. Typical marketing manipulation.Moreover, unlike other brands, this one has extra fitting feature - double case which makes the process extremely not convenient especially for the teenage who just physically was not able to place the whole huge fitting construction into the mouth so it went finally to a trash bin.All the rest - the guard looks good and protective… maybe
