My husband and I are both very pleased with our recumbent. It will fit my needs perfectly. My husband was impressed with the clarity of the instructions and the provided tools for assembly. I was surprised by the other reviews which mentioned problems with assembly but my husband was quite pleased and he is very critical of quality. It took him about three hours but he took lots of breaks! I bought the Amazon recommended padded seat and rug to prevent scratching the floor. The machine might not be perfect for you. Two things that others have mentioned... the maximum resistance is not that much. A person that wants a truly heavy workout probably would be disappointed. Also the read out on my heart rate is not functioning well. These who items do not lower the value for me but it could for other people. All in all it is really quite beautiful, simple and solid. If as time goes on and I have a problem, I will update my review. Good job engineers on a good product at a great price point.

I like elliptical cycles, but my basement has a low ceiling, so I want a seated recumbent elliptical. I was between the $829 Teeter Freestep and this Sunny one. I went with this one because: lower cost, it sits lower, and the warranty is longer at 3 years. I was concerned it still might be too high for my basement, especially since the FreeStep seat adjusts more vertically than the Sunny. If I was unsatisfied with the Sunny, I could return it and get the FreeStep instead. My concerns were: will it quiet enough? Will the resistance be enough? Will it feel good to use? Will it be durable? The answer to all the questions is "yes" (I think). The FreeStep claims to be whisper quiet. The Sunny is plenty quiet, it makes virtually no noise. The FreeStep has 13 resistance levels with a heavier fly wheel. The Sunny has 8 levels and is lighter. The resistance seems plenty for me. At level 5, I could tell it would be a quality work out. 8 should be enough if I advance levels. It feels good to use. My legs were getting good extension, and the arm motion and extension felt similar to the standing elliptical at the gym that I like. Time will tell if it's as durable as I think it is, and I reserve the right to change this review in the future. The parts seemed pretty solid in quality, and I am optimistic it will last well. It's pretty solid on an even floor. UPDATE: nearly two years later, it's holding up really well.

This item works very well. I noticed some people indicated problems with squeaking when using it; I also had that issue, but tightened some of the bolts, and now it's VERY quiet. It does shake a little, so I'd be careful of putting my sell phone in the little holder. I've had it for over a week now and overall it's just what I needed. The materials (including the hardware and tools) are very sturdy, much more so than I expected (or see from similar things). The only major criticism I'd have would be that the instructions aren't as clear as they could be in some places. It was by no means a "complicated" assembly, though attaching the tension cable proved to be very tricky, even with two people. I did the rest on my own. I'm up to over 16 miles on it so far, and I tend to push things, so here's to hoping it lasts

My husband put it together in record time and we both love it. At 72 I don't have to worry about trying to balance on a regular stationary bike. The seat adjusts so we can both use it. The battery powered information is easy to read and useful, (time, speed, rpms, distance, calories). It's awesome, highly recommend it and don't get one without the arms, they are great too!

While the Recumbent Bike was a little challenging to assemble, once we got it together it is a great exercise machine. One thing that I am most happy about is that it is completely silent! I can put my phone on the little stand and do a podcast as I exercise. My husband is using it daily!

Not too bad to assemble, instructions are a bit sparse but adequate. My first exercise was the assembly itself about 2 hours later and all done. Works well and I will use it at least 15-20 minutes a day. 21 May 2021 Update: We had a failure of the on board computer on April 25th, 2021. I was still able to use the bike, just unable to use timer or the pulse monitoring computer. At first I thought it was just the batteries but after replacing them with fresh ones we found that this wasn't the issue. As it was within the 6 month warranty, I called customer service and was told that it wasn't any problem and that I needed to fill out an on line warranty service ticket and a new computer would be sent out. I did so and the warranty parts folks aksed for proof of purchase to verify the warranty period an a brief video of the issue. I showed a vid of me installing new batteries and the computer screen remaining blank. I showed my attempts at resetting the device and that no function resulted. They agreed a new computer was needed and sent one out within a week. They advised that it may take up to 5 weeks to get it but I received it on 5/20/2021 three weeks after shipping date. The repair was simple 4 screws and 3 plugs and we were back in business. All in all the warranty service requests were reasonable for documentation and the replacement part shipment was prompt. I was pleased with the outcome and getting my unit back to it's original condition. 7/21/2021 Update to review. Unfortunately yesterday evening we had a ferocious thunderstorm in our area an a strike happened very close to our home. Today when we tried to use the bike the on board computer was fried again. This may be what took it out last time, I don't know for sure though. I purchased the Asurion 2 year warranty when I bought the bike in case of mechanical failure with all the parts this bike has and it also covers electronic equipment attached to the bike. I filed a claim expecting a replacement on board computer but Asurion opted to Fully Refund the purchase price of the bike. They also advised that they do not require the return of the bike at all do to the cost of retuning the unit and that we may keep it or donate it or otherwise dispose of it as we see fit. I was very pleased and happy that I took out the warranty.

This bike came in a box. Arrived undamaged except for one small item. Instructions for assembly were clear. Very complicated assembly but with some organization we were able to assemble it. There are buttons on the chair arm rests. One of these was detached with a tiny piece of plastic that held a screw. I managed to glue this piece back in place and attach the screw which solved the problem. Ovedrall the bike is sturdy and it works well.

Has been great in helping me get active. As a wheelchair user, it isn't easy finding an exercise that works for me, and getting to a gym that is accessible is almost impossible. So this has been a great addition to my house. Assembled pretty easily, and doesn't take up a massive amount of space. Very quiet when running as well, which is great, as it means I can use it when it's convenient for me.
