This is a LARGE litter box with low 4" sides, perfect for medium to large-sized senior cats. I would not recommend this under any circumstances for a kitten or hamster or gerbil, but it should work fine for a large rabbit. You can expect to have some litter kicked over the sides occasionally, but it's worth it so your senior cat doesn't associate using the litterbox with a painful experience---which in our home was starting to create an issue. So I decided I needed a lower side in a stainless steel litterbox. I won't lie, it wasn't easy finding one. I'm so happy LIHONG makes this available on Amazon! It's easy to scoop, easy to wash, and easy for my elderly cats to get in and out of.

Easier to clean, does well with smell, and my cats don’t seem to have an issue getting in and out of it. They’re both 7 going on 8.

The media could not be loaded. Honestly i bought this product because my old litter box smelled so bad within 3 days of me cleaning it. It does a good job smell wise as it doesn’t get smelly over time like most plastic boxes. The only thing is the metal leaves black stains on the wall but they’re pretty easy to clean.

I had a plastic one that my kitties were scratching up and the clumps were sticking. My cats share a box even though I had one for each. I clean the box twice a day but the plastic wasn't holding up well.. I bought this stainless steel months ago and am extremely happy with it. Nothing sticks to it, they can't scratch it and the sides are high enough that they don't make a mess. I recommend it highly!

I purchased two of these for messy cats (2). I was tired of litter all over the floor and the odor retention of plastic litter boxes. I have been a cat owner for over fifty years and that is a lot of different litter boxes over the years. All kinds and all sizes and NONE COMPARE to this stainless steel. The litter by and large remains in the box, there is no odor retention as there is no plastic. They are great and the last box I will ever own. Stainless is virtually indestructible and nothing sticks to it. The sides are high {which is why I brought it} and the floor area is large. It is heavy with litter in it and difficult for me to move around but who relocated their boxes all the time? They are pricey but worth every penny to me. I love them!
