...just be sure to put it in trickle mode if you want it to maintain the battery. In charge mode it will charge the battery, then shut off. In trickle mode it will charge at a lower rate, then also shut off. However, in trickle mode, if the battery drops to 12.5v, it will turn back on and bring the charge back up. It will stay in trickle mode if the power goes out, as long as it is connected to a battery with some charge. That means that it is a reliable battery maintainer. I have ~10 of them running on tractors, mowers, and vehicles. In trickle mode they do their job unattended. I do have a couple of gripes: - The wall wart configuration is a pain. They will not fit next to one another on a power strip. I much prefer a device with an actual power cord. - I also wish that the charge mode would come back on when the battery voltage drops below 12.5. The trickle mode does this, but only charges at 1 amp max. The charge mode runs up to 1.75 amps.

Love these little trickle charges. Very dependable and worth having if you have multiple vehicles you don’t use as often or for winter storage. Actually showed me I had a bad 12 volt battery with 6 volts on the charger indicator. Further testing that battery with a load tester indicates it had three dead cells in that battery. Very nice to know you can just walk by and see what the charger is actually doing. Will turn off when fully charged.

I really like this charger it is automatic on off. If you have a vehicle that sits a week or 2 this is a must have. I have a car in the garage we drive as grocery getter it keeps battery up in severe cold weather. Jam Northeast nebraska

These are a first purchase of any type of battery charger. These are amazing and they work exceptionally well for my fourwheelera. I live in wisconsin so I needed a good trickle charger. So these were my pick! And the fuctions are super easy

Update: Company reached out and made it right by the product. The new one seems to be working correct, as advertised. It was sent quickly. Worked as expected for a couple of months. Then stopped working and gace me an odd error on the display. I reached out to the company since they state they have a three year warranty and all I got back was excuses telling me to try something different over a week period of time. Finally bought a real charger, but the company doesn't really have a warranty.
