They are tall, firm, and soft, just like the pictures. They took two days to re-inflate from the vacuum packed shipping, but excellent every day after. Best cushions we ever ever had on our hard wood chairs.

I am using this product in my lift chair. I was getting sores from spending so much time in the chair. Sores eased up and less lumpy sitting. The chair is 10 years old.

Love this cushion. I have not a lot of padding on my own bottom (Hank Hill syndrome lol). Most of the firmer pads and chairs that get recommended are not comfortable to me. I've tried several plush but seemingly fully stuffed pillows but they all went flat in a month or two. This pad is very soft and comfortable but also retains it's shape. Starts out flat but I let it be for the full 24 hours and it grew to full size. Mine is the soft version, but they have a medium firm option if you prefer firmer cushions. The cover included is nice as it has a gripping texture on the bottom that keeps it from sliding if you use it on a hard chair.

Out of 10 Cushions purchased this Black one is the best. I still have one on the way, it's a Gray one of these. I expect I will keep them both, as this Black one is PERFECT. Just the right amount of Soft Comfort and Support. I suspect the Gray one will be a little Firmer (will report later) as it States a Weight of .35 Pounds heavier. Black Cushion arrived at 6AM, so I tried it before I put my Pants on, and WoW I am loving it. The Velvet is so much more Comfortable on Bare Skin than that Loose Poly Mesh that makes a Crinkle Sound when you touch it and makes your Bare Skin Itchy. I tried different Cushions with Holes, cut outs, Contours, Honeycombs, and different Materials. Flat Blue Memory Foam with Velvet Cover is Best (not the one with Holes in it). If you don't wish to Shop around like me then just buy this one and you will likely be Happy. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Great Product at good Price. Foam is fast to settle and fast to recover. No need to wait 24 Hours when you open it, it's ready to jump on in seconds and quickly settles to a Comfortable texture when Sat on. You don't feel like you're sinking for 1 Minute, then it gets Hard like some Cushions I have used. UPDATE. Got the Gray one today. Much Firmer than the Black. Black is Comfortable as medium Firm should be, the Gray one I believe is listed wrong and should be listed as a Firm as it is hard and will be returned. Such a shame it's Beautiful but not at the same comfort level as it was described to be in the Ad. CONCLUSION. These can vary a bit in softness. If it seems a little firm don't worry about it, it will get softer before long. If it seems a little soft you may want to try the other Color and send it back. Very nice Cover on these and yes they do have a bit of Odor at first. It is the Chemicals trapped within and Sitting on it pushes out the Fumes. Airing it out does little good as you need to push the Fumes out by using it. If you just use it the Smell is gone in a couple of Days. BOTTOM LINE. BEST CUSHION OUT OF 10 I HAVE TRIED AND I NOW OWN TWO BLACK ONES THAT ARE GREAT.
