The quality is premium, as advertised. The flakes are a beautiful, vibrant red color, indicating freshness, and the grind size is perfectly medium—ideal for both paste making and seasoning, as it disperses well without making the final product gritty.

Product is very tasty. Has little to no heat, for my sense buds. And I don’t enjoy heat.

These are a light ground pepper. Not spicy almost like a chili powder. We wanted to follow the recipe and have since used them in other dishes.

This pepper has some flavor, but it is very mild. Even when I add a lot of it, but the result isn't very spicy at all. The color is really good, though. The Spice Way generally has great products, but I don't think I'll be buying this one again. Four stars because it's a good quality product in itself, but the "10,000 Scoville units" rating in the product description doesn't seem accurate for the pepper I received.

I use this quite a lot in my cooking, mostly marinades and sauces. I also make chili oil out of this. Color is bright out of the package but it darkens over time. It has a nice aroma. Doesn’t cake as long as it’s in an airtight container. Love the flavor that it adds to my recipes.
