My rating is for the product, not the brand. There are cheaper ways to find the same product. This is a good product for people whose hair is thinning. It will not bring back receding hair and will look stupid if you try it. I have thinning hair on the front of my head, especially in summer and this really does make it look thicker. It takes a little bit of practice to learn not to coat your forehead with it. Put it on by separating your hair with a comb then comb through. It attaches to the scalp and colours it giving the appearance of thicker coverage. Then style to fix your hair in place. I always use spray so I believe that the spray also keeps the fibres attached to the scalp, I've no idea if without the spray they would unattach during a windy day or in the rain. I went on a waterslide and got really wet (without submerging my head) and the fibers did not move. Yet it comes off really easily washing hair normally in the shower. There must be a permanent alternative to putting this on every day such as tattooing which I am now going to investigate. I'm very happy with the product and I'm going to buy the cheaper alternatives next time. My advice would be to instantly go for the cheaper alternatives such as the refil packs and fill an old talcom powder tube. Very much cheaper than this.

I have read others reviews and feel I should write one. I have spent an enormous amount of money on different products for my thinning hair. I first tried Toppik around six or seven months ago. I can truthfully say I would financially be a lot better off if I knew about Toppik two years ago. I use it after I have blown dry my hair. I put the fibres on at the wrong side, pat it on and finish styling my hair with the dryer set at lowest speed and heat in the right direction. I have read others find it makes a mess, I haven,t experienced that. I use it every second day. I have just finished my first 50g light brown one and had a new one delivered yesterday. Others have said they do not know how much is left, I found this surprising as you can screw it open at the top. It lasts for ages. I have also read you can see hair thinning in photographs "not in my experience" and it comes off in rain and wind, again, not in my experience. I cannot recommend this highly enough. Purchase a shade lighter, I guarantee you will think of this review and wish you had made your purchase much sooner.

Used this product for a few years now. Pros: give you confidence when you are out and does make your hair look thicker. Cons. Not rainproof and blows out of your hair in a strong wind even when using hairspray. The worst thing is if there is very hot sun particularly at midday the fibres turn sage green which is very embarrassing. So always have a sun hat with you on days like that. Also never sit directly under a light or with your back to a window as the fibres seem to disappear and you are back to your very thin hair. Also flash camera pictures makes it all disappear and reveals your think hair.

Easy to use, great for covering any patches of fine hair. Used onstage and whilst filming. Can be slightly messy but understandable.

The product is really good, but why has the price gone up £20 since June 2025, It cost me around £35 for a large bottle in June, its now August (2 months later) and its now £53... why for the huge price rise in short space of time?

Fantastic result, son loves it. He has a bit of a penalty spot around his crown and this toppik covers it extremely well, can't believe how undetectable it is

Good product that produces convincing results at a reasonable price. I use it regularly as it is quick to apply and blends in well with my existing hair.
