This is a much better air filter than the one I had in my car. It fit perfectly and is a very good value for the quality I purchased. It saved me over $30 than had I bought it at the service store. Very easy to install and seals perfectly.

I bought this specifically for driving through smoky areas on road trips. It works pretty well! It restricts the air flow by about 50% compared to my washable K&N filter. So I wouldn't use it on a regular basis, but when there's a wildfire nearby, it makes sense to use this. Update: This worked extremely well during the Eaton fire in Los Angeles County! The air inside of the car remained very clean and did not smell of smoke even though the air outside was extremely smoky; the air quality index outside was over 1000 (normal healthy air has an index of < 50. Anything over 300 is considered hazardous).

I have never seen a filter this well made before. I am on my third generation Toyota Rav 4. I have been changing the cabin filters myself. All the ones i have gotten before are the usual flimsy card board. They were priced simmarly, but this one was so much more firmer. It was easier to install because it was not flimmsy at all .I did not notice any reduced air flow like someothers experienced.
