I’ve tested this now on a few long rides on single track on a bike with no suspension and I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how well it’s handled with zero issues thus far. My phone is an iPhone 16 pro max in a rugged case, so about as big as possible for a phone and case and it still fits. My only concern is that it does stretch the rubber holding loops quite a bit so not sure if it will hold up long term, but so far so good. Also one good but of redundancy, is that if a holding loop comes off one corner the phone doesn’t just pop out.

I bought this unit to use as a phone mount on my bike. I found that it attaches quite securely to my bike stem. During my ride but it holds my phone very securely. The phone also does not slip to either side of the stem. I bought a Bone Bike Tie Pro 3. I found it to be a very good fit for my OnePlus 7 Pro (in its case). The straps are neither too loose nor too tight for my phone. It is easy to insert the phone but not so loose that you have to worry about the phone falling out. For reference, my phone has a 6.75 inch display. It also measures 3 inches wide and 6.5 inches long in its case that I purchased from OnePlus. I would highly recommend this bike mount.
