Fuel Filler Door Locking Gas Tank Cap Cover for Jeep Wrangler Accessories 2007-2018 JK Unlimited Rubicon Sahara

Replaced the old Jeep cap for something cleaner. Easy to install just two screws and two clips and it was out. Push the new one in and it’s done. Seems good quality and arrived well packaged.

This is pretty well made however, there are a few quality issues to be fixed. The door has a support bracket next to the gas nozzle and the facia screws are fixed to a large grommet to keep them from coming apart. Installation is pretty strait forward but difficult for large hands. All in all, it took me about 45 minutes for the install. Remember: the rubber gasket that goes around the gas nozzle (reuse the one you have) is a real challenge to get out 1st before removing the factory gas well. Update 11/08/2020 I had to remove this and reinstall the factory gaswell. This model started to rust out on the black facia screws. The clasping mechanism came out out wouldn’t stay installed. The whole unit started to warp with normal use. The door freezes shut in weather below 38 degrees. All in all, I had to change my rating to a 1*. Deeply disappointed this turned out to be a hunk of garbage.

Great look on the 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport! Good quality and easy install. Came with a set of 2 keys. Better than having an exposed gas cap.

Easy to install and it look awesome

After watching videos on how to install was a little worried about the rubber gasket. But, this went on so easily that I thought I didn't something wrong. Looks good.
