These tin snips work great! it is easy to cut through aluminum. and they don't hurt your hand.

These Tin Snips are solid for basic cutting tasks. The 9-inch size is manageable, and the stainless steel blade handles light metal, branches, and wires decently. The comfort grips are a plus, providing a good hold during use. However, they struggle a bit with thicker materials, so they’re best suited for lighter, more straightforward jobs. Overall, they’re functional and useful for occasional, small-scale projects but might not be ideal for heavy-duty work.

I took a good look at these and sent them back-in my opinion these do not measure up for the long run.

Love this item as it also is good for trimming flowers or small tree branches....1/4 inch or smaller. I use it to thin down a feeler gauge and it sliced right thru it. Big handles make it easy and I have bigger hands.

These cut thin metal, zip ties and even paper and cardboard. Not sure I would use them for thicker metal, but for what I needed, they worked.
