Best purchase of 2025! Absolute game changer!
I had never had a heated blanket before so I didn't really know what to expect. I don't even remember why I decided to buy this, but honestly, this blanket is probably the best purchase I've made in 2025. As others have said, it is super soft, lightweight, and the heat is distributed evenly throughout the whole thing. The heat setting goes pretty high - I usually keep mine at a 4, sometimes 5 if it's an extra chilly day. I love that it has the self timer as a safety precaution. So far, the quality has been amazing. My main complaints are that the power cord isn't as long as I'd like, especially since the power inlet on the blanket is on the right side and my power outlet by my bed is on the left, and also the big tag on the bottom (which, if we're being honest, isn't really a big deal). I wish I could order a longer power cord without having to buy a larger sized blanket. I have not washed mine yet, but it is supposed to be machine washable and I have seen some video reviews saying they washed it with no problem. Fair warning, you will not be able to get out of bed in the morning once you start using this blanket. This is probably the best small investment you can make for your sleep, especially of you run cold or don't have a heater. I cannot recommend this blanket enough. It has been an absolute game changer for me. I think that I will buy one of these for each of my family members as Christmas gifts next year, because I am completely convinced they will love it as much as I do.

absolutely worth the money!!!
I absolutely love this Homemate heated blanket! The size is perfect for curling up on the couch, and it heats up quickly with plenty of warmth without feeling too heavy. The 10 heat settings make it easy to find the perfect temperature, whether I just want a little warmth or something extra cozy on cold nights. The flannel and sherpa material feels incredibly soft and comfortable, and the auto shut-off timer gives me peace of mind, especially when I use it before bed. I also appreciate the overheat protection and ETL certification, which makes it feel safe and reliable. Overall, this heated throw is well made, cozy, and very easy to use. Definitely a great purchase and something I’d highly recommend to anyone looking to stay warm and comfortable.

Thick, soft, warm. This blanket has it all!
I have been living in a camper ever since the tornado of May 16. My house is not finished being built yet and I needed a warm electric blanket to help me through the winter as the camper is freezing. This was the third blanket that I bought as the other ones did not do the job. Not only is this blanket, warm extremely soft, thick and heavy, but not too heavy. It’s performed better than three that I bought. I would definitely buy this again and the picture that I posted here is actually showing you the thickness of this blanket. You cannot feel the wires as it’s so thick and so very soft. The size is perfect for my camper. I got the throw size and I’m 5 foot six and I have no problems with it fitting so yes the designer is perfect. The durability seems like it’s going to last for a long time. Thank you and I definitely will buy from him again.

Great Value! Gorgeous! Recommend!
The purple is gorgeous. My color scheme is jewel tones and this purple worked perfectly. Longer cord to stretch to my couch which sits away from the wall. Some people say its thinner, which it's not the thickest ever. But, thick enough and I mean, it's a heated throw, so IMO it doesn't matter since its heating either way. Super soft, gorgeous and is cozy and warm. Would recommend!

Cozy… With a Side of “Am I Lying on a Very Warm Ethernet Cable?”
I bought the Homemate Heated Blanket Throw (50"x60") because my house has that specific winter vibe where the thermostat is set to “financially responsible” and my body is set to “Victorian orphan.” This blanket showed up like, “Say less. I will become your personal climate.” First off, the materials: 200gsm flannel + 200gsm sherpa. That’s not a blanket, that’s a statement piece for people who hate being cold. Even without turning it on, it’s thicker and warmer than a normal throw—like you could wrap up in it and immediately start saying things like, “I’m just gonna stay in tonight,” as if you were ever leaving. Then you hit the controls: 10 heat levels, 86–122°F, and auto-off at 1/2/4/6/8 hours. This blanket has more settings than my car. It’s also weirdly considerate—like it’s saying, “I will keep you warm, but I will not enable you. After 8 hours, you must face the world.” Honestly? Respect. Safety-wise, the description is doing a full courtroom closing argument: UL964 test, ETL certification, overheat protection, lower electromagnetic radiation, plus Japanese-designed heating wire like it’s a luxury import. I don’t know what “lower EM radiation” means in my daily life, but it did make me feel like I wasn’t slowly becoming a Wi-Fi extender. Performance is where it really wins. The heating area feels large and pretty even, and when you’re curled up on a couch at 2AM watching something you pretend is “just one episode,” it gives you that slow, steady warmth that makes you question why you ever paid an electric bill for an entire house. Also: 12.5-foot cord. If your outlet is inconveniently placed (which it is, because homes were designed by someone who hated comfort), this thing reaches. It’s basically the blanket equivalent of “I’ll make it work.” Now for the real-life note: you can feel the wires more than other heated blankets. The listing says you “hardly feel” them, but my body would like to submit Exhibit A: my shoulder blade at hour three. It’s not unbearable, and it depends how you’re positioned—but if you’re sensitive to that “corded grid” feeling, you’ll notice it. Think: “cozy luxury throw” with occasional “warm hammock of mild wiring.” Pros: - Thick, genuinely cozy fabric even before you turn the heat on (flannel + sherpa is a strong combo) - 10 heat levels with a practical temp range (86–122°F) for picky warm-blooded creatures - Auto-off options (1/2/4/6/8 hours) = safer and great for falling asleep without fear - Long 12.5 ft cord = couch, bed, office, wherever the nearest outlet is hiding Safety features and certifications (ETL/UL testing, overheat protection) add peace of mind Cons: - You can feel the hard wires more than other heated blankets (especially if you’re bony or side-sleeping on it) - The controls/settings can feel a little “pilot checklist” at first - If you like extreme heat fast, you may find yourself clicking levels like you’re cracking a safe Best for: Cold people, couch campers, winter penny-pinchers, and anyone who wants targeted warmth without heating the whole house. Not for: People who are very sensitive to feeling heating wires under them. Summary: It’s like a warm hug with a tiny bit of “technology spine” - cozy enough that you’ll forgive it and keep it on your couch like it pays rent.

soft and toasty!!
This heated blanket is so soft on both sides. It gets hot fast and is easily and quickly adjustable. Perfect size throw for sitting on the couch or to quick warm you in bed. We like these for use in our RV on cool nights. The material is smooth and does not shed. It has no real pattern but looks nice. Heating is either 1/2/4/6/8 hours. My only con is I wish it had heating every hour rather than every other hour. Overall functional and great value.
