I bought this for my seven-year-old and it was a great beginner stick. Would definitely keep in mind the length of the stick. My son is a little bit taller however the stick was about 3 to 4 inches too short. We don’t have a background in hockey so we didn’t realize how long the stick should be. The stick should come up, at least to your kids chin when they have their skates on as a reference. Once he grew out of it, we bought a junior extension to make it longer however, they do not fit with this stick. So we will be purchasing another longer one. Quality is really good though and the grip is nice. My son loved the color:)

This used product worked well for us

Loved the color but too small for my 7 year old. Luckily it was just the right size for my 3 year old, so we did keep it.

Couple things to keep in mind here. This stick won't be great for use on asphalt, street, etc. Stick to soft deck or ice here. The blade simply won't keep up. And remember to size appropriately (if on skates vs. feet, etc). That said, for a youth composite stick, this won't break the bank and has the benefit of the Franklin brand behind it. Great pick for a lightweight stick for my 4 year old to start with.

For some reason, this stick is quite a bit shorter than others that we have that are listed as the same length. Some fuzzy math happening.
