As a hairstylist with a very strong focus on men’s hair for over 20 years, I applaud the guys at Highland for what they are doing. A product line with quality and minimal ingredients we can actually read and understand. This clay is what I have always wanted!! Sure you’ll see some reviews talking about how there isn’t enough hold or it’s not even a medium hold when it says it’s strong hold on the package, but you have to understand, when a product is this clean, strong hold isn’t going to feel like the strong hold in the garbage products most of us have used. This is a strong hold, in terms of keeping your best natural look all day. Something you can work into place, then continuously run your hands through all day and it still looks great. The men’s clay from Davines does a wonderful job at this too, but there’s something about the finish of this product that literally brings out such a healthy natural look. Not shiny either and definitely does not give you a wet look out of the shower. If you see that kind of review, the guy most likely has greasy hair, is using cheap conditioner, or perhaps applied too much. Don’t over use this product in your application, you get the best out it. Amazing work Highland, keep it up!

I bought this pomade for my husband and he absolutely loves it! After using so many different cheap junk hair products from the grocery store, it was great to find something that focused on quality of ingredients and the product that they put out. It's so easy to use, makes his hair and scalp feel great, and he only needs to use a small amount to get the look he wants! He has short/medium hair and wears it messy and this is the perfect pomade for a medium hold. Will definitely be buying more!!

I like the texture and the smell, and I like how it doesn’t leave a sticky residue on my hands. That being said, the hold is just ok and I think it’s really overpriced for how much you get.

Pretty good product but way too small of a size for the price. If they doubled the size for the price it costs, I would give 5 stars, but there are much better options, for the price, to choose from.

Texture of the product is good, not too thick to work with. The hold for my hair i would say is average or comparable compared to other products I have used such as Reuzel, suavecito, hanz de fuko. I bought this highland pomade mainly for the low scent and natural ingredients, which it delivers, that great! However, I find it to be very difficult to clean and wash off. After applying shampoo twice, I can still feel the clay in my hair even after conditioner, so I would say that's the only deal breaker for me and something that could stop me from using it in the future and reach for other products in the morning. But it's a good product overall.
