Brilliant items, and sooo good during the recent hot spell. I left them in the original plastic wrapping and just put them in the freezer according to the instructions that come with them, and waited. I thought it best to use the bag in case the ice creams with which they shared a drawer, decided to spontaneously leak or something silly :) Anyhow, a couple of hours or so later, I got them out of the freezer and slipped my hot and swollen feet into them. SO easy to pull on despite me being a larger person and with very swollen feet and ankles and so comfortable to wear. I then put up my feet and let the gentle cooling do its trick. Not so cold that you flinch, but after a while you feel the GENTLE cooling sensation and it really does help with pain, swelling and heat on the feet. Left them on about an hour and then returned them to the freezer for another bout just before bed time. Not something I would wander around in, but something to slip into whilst I relax in the evening. And after a time, if you feel the need to wash them, they are so easy to clean, just gently wash them as you would a delicate, after removing the little pads first. Truly delighted and so happy I bought them

These cold socks work very well, if you freeze them they are a little too cold! I wear thick socks underneath and can still only wear them a few minutes. Chilled in the fridge they are very comfortable on bare feet, but only stay cool 10 mins or so. But this can be managed in lots of ways ( take them out of the freezer before your run, or put them in the freezer for half an hour before you use them etc). My biggest problem is that I have size 8 feet and in the normal position they are not quite long enough to cover all of my heels and toes, so I have to pull the socks into a new position to push the cool pad onto my heels. But they are pretty good and I would recommend.

Great if you want to warm or cool your feet. Work wonders to cool and reduce swelling but equally find them relaxing and soothing warm. Do not try to walk in them when using for two reasons: 1) you will fall as they are soft and slippy 2) you will damage the inserts. Fab little find so feet up :)

Got these for my da who suffers intermittently from gout. He had a really horrific flare-up recently and was miserable. Got him these and he said they were good. (High praise from him 😄) Initially both is feet were too swollen to get the socks on, but he was able to use the ice packs regardless. Once the swelling reduced he was able to use these properly and said size-wise they’re actually excellent. (He has size 10-11 feet). Was impressed how versatile they are, ie you can reverse them to put the gel pads on the ball/sole or on the top of your foot. Also a great idea to have a sock you can put ice packs in. Didn’t matter so much in the recent heatwave but in winter there’s nothing worse than having to sit with your socks off to ice a sore foot or ankle. Excellent item to have in the medicine cabinet for any family member of any age.

Life changing for me in hot weather. My feet have been hurting and burning from walking all day in the heat and keeping me awake, especially in the hot weather. Since I bought those, putting those on before bed is my favourite part of the evening. Cooling feet cools the whole body. The gel pads can be moved around in the sock as it’s layered. Top. Pop them in the freezer not in the fridge in the plastic bag they came in. They are more effective that way. Cooling effect lasts about 30 mins. I take them off and go to sleep. If I need more cooling I flip the pads and get 10 more mins. Amazing.

You get 2 socks, but they are very poorly made, I doubt they will last long because the sock material is so thin. The ice packs only cover the sole of my feet and back of my heel, but they do not cover them evenly. As I said, it is a poorly made product, but they do cool you feet, so they are better than nothing. If you buy them, take the back of heel ice pack out, put the socks on and then put in the heel ice pack. Now that I have these cooling socks. What I really should have found was something stronger than a sock, closer to a shoe, which covers 100% of my foot. It should open completely so all I have to do it place my foot on the sole of it, then the 2 sides should fold over each other covering my foot 100%, most likely held together with velcro .

I suffer from raynaud's syndrome, predominantly causing pain and discomfort in the winter months with very cold feet (and hands) but in the warmer months the temperature of my feet increases, and they get incredibly hot which makes sleeping difficult, I'm not sure if the hot feet is another symptom of raynaud's but, let's just say, throught the year there is little relief. Until now. I bought these socks with the intention to prepare me for the warmer months, not realising they can be both hot and cold. Bonus. All year round solution. I've used them purely for keeping my feet cool and they're fantastic. So soothing. Finally relief. The socks are very soft, really comfortable to wear. I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank the Customer Services Team, who have been absolutely phenomenal.

I’ve had so many difficult foot injuries and issues from broken toes to nerve problems and sore feet and this is one of the most convenient purchases I made. So handy and comfortable to ice a part of your body that can be tricky if you also need to elevate etc

Ich habe mir die Kältesocken für meinen schmerzenden Fersensporn bestellt. Sie erfüllen ihren Zweck. Sogar die Achilessehne wird schön gekühlt. Die Kälte hält ca. 1/2 Stunde, was auch ausreichend ist. Die Socken sind gut vernäht und aus angenehmem Material. Laufen kann man damit allerdings nicht sonderlich gut durch die Gelpads unter den Sohlen. Kann man sich aber denken und man sollte sich die Zeit nehmen, die Füße für die Kühlung hochzulegen. :-)
