HG Limescale Remover Concentrate, Sink, Tap, Glass & Toilet Cleaner, Bathroom Descaler – 500ml

Good stuff this. I bought a Limey which is like a balloon you put over tap heads and fill with limescale remover then leave for a day or so. When I came back to remove it, some of the thick limescale had just dissolved, and the rest was very easy to just brush off when previously it was set like stone. Some of the spillage of this limescale remover went on the drain plug which I previously believed I had chemically etched and permanently tarnished on previous attempts at using different chemicals to clear the limescale from it. It turns out it was still just limescale build up after all, and it came off easily once exposed to the H&G. That limescale previously totally resisted Viakal on multiple occasions.

I recently had the opportunity to use this little bottle of amazing lime remover, and it truly surpassed my expectations! As someone who frequently battles hard water stains, I was eager to find an effective solution. User-Friendly Application: The application process was simple and efficient. Add to water and affected areas and allowed it to sit for a few minutes. After waiting a few minutes, I wiped down the surfaces, and I was astonished by the results! The stubborn lime stains were removed with minimal effort, restoring the shine to my taps and shower head without the need for scrubbing and bowl. Pleasant Odor: The product emitted a mild, fresh scent, making the cleaning process much more enjoyable. Priced reasonably, a small amount of the product goes a long way, providing excellent value for money. I wholeheartedly recommend this lime remover to anyone struggling with hard water stains. Bought a house where the previous residents were less than attentive to toilet cleanliness... The I bend was significantly built up with stained limescale 🤢 It did take a few treatments with this stuff, requiring two X 500ml bottles, and a fair amount of scrubbing too, but the limescale really was thick! However 2 bottles of this were a lot cheaper than a new toilet 👍👍 (As a sidenote, this stuff also acts as premium rust remover for cars, metal gates, whatever... Phosphoric acid is it's active ingredient and it's quite a strong dose in this stuff, which coupled with it's gel consistency means that it's easy to apply and work on complex shaped and inverted surfaces (like the underside of car wings)... A lot of commercially available rust removers have a low phosphoric acid content and also contain an epoxy that dries in a black colour. This gives treated metal the appearance of having cured the rust when really it's still there spreading under the epoxy coating. Furthermore the epoxy coating is prone to micro fractures from vibrations whilst driving, which leaves the metal underneath susceptible to fresh water ingress and rust... By using this stuff you can actually see whether all the rust has been effectively treated, then spray with an automotive 2k sealer primer (which adheres better and won't develop micro fractures), and top coat, ensuring a more permanent fix to vehicular rust! )

Havent used yet,bcoz difficult to apply without spray nozzle .Quite annoying . . . !!

Why did you choose this product over others?: I bought this along with some pumice to scrape the limescale and didn’t need the pumice. We have a disgusting outside toilet that was never used except by my husband in desperate moments. It was stained dark brown and normal toilet cleaning didn’t work and I thought we needed a new toilet. As a last ditch attempt I bought this due to the good reviews. I initially poured half the bottle in and left it several hours and gave it a go with the toilet brush and there was a marked difference. I then put in the other half a bottle and left it overnight with visits in the day to scrub the sides with the toilet brush. It’s now completely clean. This is amazing stuff and I would buy again if ever needed.

My partner's plumber recommended this brand to me and it really works!! I will say I had trouble using it on the side of my sink, when I moved in there was limescale in wherever there was water but this product made my shower head powerful instead of clogged, it helped on the toilet and I'm so grateful I listened and bought this item!! I've tried alot of limescale remover sprays, scrubbing aswell but none of them helped, some would cover it say on the bathroom sink only to come back very quickly but with this product the results last!! It was easy to rinse, I wasn't left with marks I'd need to scrub off. It doesn't have a strong smell you need to leave the room to air for the day it's good value for money for me and if your battling limescale from hard water I'd absolutely recommend this product 😊

I have been having trouble getting limescale off my toilet. I had to drain my water a bit so the theres less water to get the solution concentration up but i really didnt apply a whole lot. id say i put in may 50-60ml. I left it for 30 minutes and when i came back i could even see visual reduction in the limescale already. And with a few brush scrubbing it was as good as new. I hope i wont have to use this again but am i glad i have this around just in case.

It's doing a good job removing previous hard water stains, but I still have to do more treatment. But it IS making it look better even after one treatment! Concentrated, so the bottle will last a good while.
