There should be thousands+ Review: Jeffers has done it again - When I first read Here We Are, I was left feeling like, “wow. that was exceptional, and so simple and human, so beautiful and so needed”, and I feel the same way about Begin Again. I am hoping everyone young and old will read this book and have that same moment, and take the lessons and go forth in their day to days with it. We gift Here We Are to anyone having a child, or who has a child and doesn’t yet own the book, every teacher as well. We plan to do the same with Begin Again. They are so important, especially in today’s world. We love reading them with our son who is 3, and he loves them as well. Here We Are has always been his favorite book. We’ve read it to him since he was a newborn, along with What We’ll Build. Those two, now three are always front and center on his little library. I’m hoping that by reading these often and revisiting as he grows and can understand more, that he will grow to be a very decent human from these beautiful, simple, important human lessons.

Everyone should read this! Read it slowly and let it sink in!!
We all need to read this book. Oliver Jeffers brings together a lot of issues in this book that in my own country today we are facing head-on. Jeffers speaks of a “world” yet in my own country, this book even applies to us. We are full of strangers right now, a country divided but we are still the same, people who “like to feel warm both on the skin and in the heart.” Our country is a divided one, a nation that has been built on a firm foundation is now cracking and it’s heartbreaking. Jeffers talks in his author notes why he wrote the book, and I suggest you read this also. Where are we headed? What will happen? Great question as like Jeffers talks about, we’re all running, racing to the end. Pulling and competing with one another, choosing based on the concept that it’s “more important to be right over wrong than to be better over worse.” “WE ARE BLIND” I totally agree with Jeffers, we have to keep an eye on the past and the present to be successful. We can’t forget what we have seen or experienced. WE must work together as a part of the crew for we are “no longer passengers on this ship, “ we are all part of the story. Great story but not for younger readers. 4.5 stars

Beautiful, thought-provoking book
We love Oliver Jeffers in our household. This new one is more advanced than my 18-month old's current favorite (The Crayons Book of Feelings). It's a visually beautiful book that will live on our coffee table and I look forward to flipping through when I'm personally looking for a boost of optimism. And I look forward to reading with my little girl over the years and to see what kinds of conversations it sparks for us as a family. Great addition to the collection.

It's a good one
Came to Oliver Jeffers years ago for the great bedtime stories but I'm all in for this new style of book from him directed towards a broader range of ages (especially adults). Oliver uses his illustrations and handwritten words that we love so much to create a beautiful, simple, and hopeful look at the world around us.
