Could be a Great Stocking Stuffer
I picked up this Damaged Screw Extractor Set as a gift for a friend who’s always working on projects, and honestly, it’s become one of those unexpectedly useful tools in my own workshop too. The set includes a good range of sizes, so whether I’m pulling out a tiny screw that’s stripped or a larger one that’s been rounded off, there’s a bit here that works. Right out of the box, the bits feel solid and well made. They’re not the flimsy sort you get in cheap knockoff kits. I’ve already used them on a couple of tough jobs — a stripped screw head on an old cabinet hinge and a rusted screw in a deck board — and both came out cleanly with minimal effort. What I like most is that the extractors grip without shredding the metal, so I don’t have to go chasing broken bits inside the wood or metal. One thing to call out is that you will need a decent drill and a bit of patience to use them effectively. They aren’t magic, but they’re way better than trying to wrestle a rounded screw with pliers. For anyone who does any DIY, woodworking, or mechanical work, this set is exactly the kind of tool you don’t realize you need until you absolutely do. In short, it was a great gift idea and I’d buy it again for myself. Solid performance, good range of sizes, and a real help when getting out damaged screws.

Excellent Extractor, It Truly Works
I bought this set to remove stripped and rusted screws, and I was surprised at how easy it was to use. The kit comes with several sizes, so there’s always one that fits perfectly. I just drilled a bit, flipped the bit, and the screw came out effortlessly. Very good quality and durable. Totally recommended and it does exactly what it promises.

For $10, not bad.
I picked up this screw extractor set on a whim, and I’m glad I did. For under $10, it’s a surprisingly handy addition to my toolbox. The kit includes six extractors made from HSS 4341 steel with a hardness rating of 63–65 HRC, which gives it solid durability. I’ve used it on a couple of stripped screws and rusty bolts, and it performed well—especially with a standard drill. 👍 Pros: Works with the screws I needed help with. Easy to use. Compact and giftable packaging Great value for the price 👎 Cons: Doesn’t always grip deeply rusted screws on the first try, and needing to drill deeper into the screw than I imagined. Overall, it’s a practical tool that solves a frustrating problem. It’s not industrial-grade, but for DIY jobs and occasional use, it’s a smart buy. Bonus points for being a fun stocking stuffer or gift for the fix-it guy (or gal) in your life

Not for heavy duty bolts
The bits work as advertised on some screws, but on bolts they strip out. Was unable to use on bolts on my car as they were too strong. The design is easy to use but not meant for heavy duty bolts.

You need drill bits but works great
Works great for removing brake rotor screws, but just make sure you have a impact drill bits to drill pivot holes in the screw, since the drill side for the extractor set to make a hole simply doesnt work, it’s not sharp enough to go through the screw properly. As long as you have a drill though, this extractor was pretty good!

Effective Rescue Kit for Stripped and Stuck Screws
I purchased this damaged screw extractor set to tackle stripped, rounded, and stuck screws in automotive and home repair projects where standard drivers wouldn’t grip. Intended use: Removing stripped, rounded, or seized screws and bolts that no longer turn with regular screwdrivers or sockets. Build quality and contents: The set includes a variety of extractor sizes, a drill bit guide, and a case that keeps pieces organized. The bits feel solid and appropriately hardened for extraction work without obvious flex. Ease of use: Using the extractor bit in a drill or impact driver was straightforward. The instructions were clear enough for someone with basic mechanical experience. Choosing the correct size and working slowly helps ensure the bit bites into the damaged fastener. Performance: In multiple attempts with stripped screws in metal and wood, the extractors gripped and removed screws that I couldn’t initially turn with standard tools. The tapered design helped the bit dig into the damaged head, and I was able to back screws out without additional damage to surrounding material. Limitations: For extremely hardened or corroded fasteners, extra patience and slower drill speeds were necessary. Very large bolts or heavily rusted fasteners may still require penetrating oil or specialized tools beyond a basic extractor set. Overall experience: In regular use around the garage and at home, this set has proven reliable for getting stubborn screws and bolts out without resorting to cutting or drilling them apart. Conclusion: This damaged screw extractor set is a solid addition to a tool kit for anyone who frequently deals with stripped or stuck fasteners. It offers good build quality, a range of sizes, and competent performance in real extraction tasks.
