First of all, let me just say that this is NOT a self tanning lotion. If you are looking for an instant tanner look elsewhere. Second, I’m not sure what people are expecting when putting this on after they get out of a tanning bed or get done tanning. The carrot seed oil that this moisturizer has in it enhances the glow of a tan and helps keep it from fading, but it isn’t going to make you instantly bronze. Third, this moisturizer isn't limited to just being applied after tanning. The strawberry extract, blue agave, and prickly pear are rich in antioxidants and vitamin C so they even out skin tone. The carrot seed oil also is a naturally occurring retinol. I have been using this on my hands testing out the moisturizer for this review. The moisturizer is excellent, feels hydrating, and evens out the skin tone on the top of my hands. It also smells nice, but it isn’t overpowering.

This bronzing lotion works exactly as intended and performs well under UV light in a tanning bed. The bronzer adds noticeable color and helps enhance a nice, natural-looking tan glow without making skin appear overly dark or unnaturally tanned. While this isn’t the most powerful bronzer I’ve used, it definitely gets the job done. It’s a great option if you’re looking to build additional color gradually rather than going very dark right away. The consistency is smooth and easy to apply evenly, though, as with any bronzing lotion, you’ll want to be sure to wipe your hands thoroughly after application. One standout feature is the scent. The strawberry margarita fragrance smells fantastic and is a refreshing bonus compared to many typical tanning lotions. I also found this lotion to be moisturizing, which is a big plus since maintaining hydrated skin is important for better tanning results. Overall, this is an excellent value for the size and performance, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a bronzer that enhances color while keeping a natural-looking finish.

I really like this post-tanning moisturizing lotion. It is Super hydrating & smooth feeling - not greasy at all. I love the soft fruity berry smell which is light and does not last long (good for me - I'm not a perfumy girl). It works great for enhancing my tan and leaving my skin glowing but not greasy. I tan 2-3 hours a week on my deck whenever it is +10UV index in my SoCal beach town. It is NOT A SELF TANNER or bronzer. It is a tan enhancing & preserving moisturizer. You can use it as you tan in a UV bed or just under the good 'ol SUN (like me). It does not have any SPF so be sure to limit you exposure if you are fair skinned to avoid burning & future skin issues (ie: cancer or - gasp - wrinkles). OR you can use it as a post-tanning moisturizer - which is what I do. The carrot seed oil is a retinol compound that naturally enhances skin tone while the other ingredients help even out skin tone too. It is a medium thick consistency which is easy to smooth on and absorbs nicely leaving soft hydrated skin with a nice smooth tone. It has a soft subtle shimmer once applied which I love. Good value for the money & so happy with it.
