What is difference between Mebeverine hydrochoride (mebeverine) & Hyoscine Butylbromide (Buscopan)

Mebeverine is a preventive medication that is taken regularly usually only prescribed by doctor. Buscopan is for when symptoms arise and can be taken as and when needed.

How physically large are the tablettes?

Tiny. Less than half a centimetre in diameter :) and 'sugar' or wax coated, or, Slippery, smooth, shiny exterior - so they are extremely easy to swallow :)

Is this a laxative or stool softener which helps/makes you go

For me personally, yes it does both, I suffer from IBS constipation, and I have pain , I take 2 Buscopan, and it helps me go and ,(sorry if too much information), but the stool passes quickly too, so it definitely softens and makes me go. This is my personal experience, I always keep Buscopan as an emergency.
