It was a little too tall for my toilet tank and you need to be very careful on the height. It only fits so many tanks and is not really specific in the instructions. The instructions are ok and easy to follow but I had issues straight up when I did not like the seal on the bottom. Did not seal very good and should have been my first clue. No fault of the product as it does seem well built and looks good. I did flush without the lid a it is quite and smooth but I did hear some leakage from around the flapper.
