Introducing my child to the old school Barbie movies. Lots of fun rewatching these. This is the best selection I found where I could get as many of the Barbie movies together.

Pink, classical music, dancing. Barbie dolls, princesses, animal counterparts — they all play a big role in my childhood. Growing up in the 2000’s, watching the Barbie movies was a common travel occurance, sitting in the middle seat with an old portable DVD player next on my lap. I quite happily bought this set to replace the childhood copies I had previously lost, and the nostalgia feels the same. Now watching with my godchildren/friend’s kids/etc, I love being able to show soft, calm movies about girlhood to the next generation. Thumbalina, Barbie making a wand with Pegasus, the cute little polar bear whose name I always misplace — each movie is same as I remember, no noticed skipping on the discs and cases seem to hold up. Highly recommend
