K&N Engine Air Filter: High Performance, Premium, Powersport Air Filter: Fits 2004-2009 YAMAHA (FZ6, Fazer S2, FZ6 S2, FZ6N, FZ6S, FZ6 Fazer) YA-6004

I've used K&N filters in all my vehicles for years, and when my 2005 Yamaha FZ6 needed a new filter, I didn't hesitate. Install is easy, although it can get a bit messy with the oil spray and having to get in under the gas tank. As usual, performance is improved a bit thru better air flow vs the stock filter, and the sound is great -- a nice "whoooooosh" when I twist the throttle. I highly recommend K&N air and oil filters to everyone.

Excellent fit. I was hesitant because the K & N filter for my old Honda Shadow was just very slightly not exactly perfect, but this one fits perfectly in my Yamaha FZ6.

I didn't see a power increase.I felt like it smoothed the ride tho

You can hear this thing eat the air and noticeably faster performance from engine.!

K&N is a good quality high flow air filter. The fitment is very good and it is well marked so you know which side goes to the front. Because it is a high flow filter they say you should see and increase in performance but I did not detect any performance increase nor did I see any increase in gas mileage. Since the filter is washable it should give me a long service life. I would recommend this product but if you are buying it because you expect better performance you might be disappointed.

VEry good option to improve the power of the bike. I really recommend it better than the original that comes with the bike.
