the product is working as expected and that is always a good thing. but I hate commenting so soon after purchase because longevity is important to me also.

Pretty universal jar opener. Seems made to last. Have yet to find a jar I couldn’t open using this. Some wide mouth containers, however, require an awkward grip; this might be difficult for individuals with very small or weak hands.Jar

This reminds us of the old ‘plier-style’ jar opener my mom had which we misplaced over time. After trying several others that ‘popped’ ( or tried to) the lid off, this one does the job.

So far so good. It made short work of opening a couple jars, but I wished the handles would come closer together to grip when turning. I found it a bit awkward/difficult to get my hand around both handles to apply pressure to turn lid. I also thought it would be a bit heavier made. Lighter weight than I thought. I haven't had a real difficult lid yet, so time will tell.

I have an older version and needed something similar when I cook at my boyfriend's house. He opens jars for me, but sometimes I need to get a head-start when he's still out. I tried some new "modern" units, but they didn't work well for me. So I went on line and tried to duplicate my old one. It's not quite the same, but it also works well. I'm happy with it.

It is very useful to open difficult bottles. Now I do not have to ask for help.

Works well. Opens wide mouth jar lids, medium, small and also tight screw cap bottles. Very happy with my purchase. I bought another brand at the same time. This is better.

Feels very light and slightly wobbly at 'the joint', works fine though
