My bird seems to love it. Quality is spot on and I personally didn't smell anything. I sprinkled this on his food and he seemed to have no issues at all . Good product and I would suggest purchasing this. For reference of the breed of bird that I have is a cockatiel that is 6 weeks old.

My canary, my parakeets and love birds love it. As soon as I clean their cages and prepare theirfood, they immediately start eating. The value as well as it’s freshness, makes it worth knowing how much they like it.

I have budgies that I adopted from an elderly acquaintance when she had to enter a nursing home. They were quite lethargic, a bit plump, and not playful. The vet recommended switching them from a seed only diet. They refused pellets. I saw this protein egg food and thought that perhaps this plus some veggies might help. Within a week of them eating this along with seed they began to exhibit much more active behavior. After a month, they were flying around the room and constantly moving while awake. They are like completely different birds! Both of them look sleeker, less ruffled and it's clear to me that they are healthier. Love this stuff!

I give this to all of my birds to supplement their nutrition and mix it in to their foraging trays. I also provide a bowl to my canaries and cockatiels when they are molting to give them a boost. Fresh and smells good.
