🔥 Unlock Ryzen 7000’s true power with direct die cooling!
The Thermal Grizzly Direct Die Frame for Ryzen 7000 CPUs is a precision-engineered anodized aluminum mounting frame designed in Germany. It enables direct contact between the CPU cooler and the chiplets by removing the integrated heatspreader, significantly improving heat dissipation and lowering operating temperatures. Ideal for gamers, content creators, and overclockers, it protects the exposed chiplets from cooler pressure damage while delivering enhanced cooling performance tailored specifically for AMD Ryzen 7000 processors (excluding Ryzen 7 7800X3D).

Nice part, bad results
Killed my 7900x sometime after setup. Still trying to diagnose what exactly happened, perhaps bent the mobo and caused a short? Perhaps it was the Liquid Metal?Either way it seems this is very difficult to get nice even pressure, even though the quality is there for the part. The part itself is excellent, the application of it… is a do not use in my book. Before it died, the improvement going to direct die AIO 360mm rad with Liquid Metal, from noctua paste and factory ish… was maybe 20 degrees peak to peak during highest stress, in game though it was closer to 10. However, the resulting speed difference was maybe 100mhz tops on single core. On multi core it was steadfast at 5.3ghz, but with the factory ihs I saw floating between 5.2-5.4ghz. To me ultimately I wish I hadn’t used this and paid for the delidding tool as well. Also appears that this thing doesn’t give you a nice uniform seating of the cpu either, which isn’t surprising as aluminum just isn’t that rigid. There is a relatively wide gap from the top screws to the bottom, and in the middle I didn’t feel like this thing was holding it down all that well.So in total, I expected thermal grizzly to at least have tested this out and work out such issues (steel would have been a better choice). And sell it bundled with a mobo support bracket if it is so necessary.

Be aware you will need to remove your heatsink on the cpu for the ryzen 7000 series.
the title says it all, you will need to remove the heatsink on ryzen amd 7000 series chips. This was unexpected since it didnt state that anywhere in the description. Had to return the item since i didnt want to mess around with a $600+ cpu

Do not delid ryzen 7000.
Direct die cooling never works perfectly. You will have a hard time adjusting a perfect flush fit. It's not worth it.
