I'm giving this to my grandmother for Christmas. The voice is loud enough for normal hearing and it's easy to press the button. The chain is about midchest length (middle of bra) so reaching for the clock is easy as placing your hand on your chest. You will want to set it up before giving it as a present. It was somewhat easy to setup, it did take a few steps to figure out when you press the S1 for setting up. Hint: pull crown out to set the time. press S1 until it says Hour, then press S2 you will hear the hour number and keep pressing until you hear the correct hour and am/pm. then press S1 again until it says minutes, again press S2 until you reach the correct minute, press S1 again until you hear Date, repeat S2 steps until you hear date, and so on until it repeats back to Hour. then just wait for the beep and that means its done. Press the S2 and it should give correct time. It's very pretty and lady like.

I got this to replace the one my mom had that stopped talking. She has macular and can't see very well. This keeps her independent in know what time it is. She likes the gold color (old one was silver) she like how it is small and more dainty where her old one reminded her of a man's pocket watch and was a little heavier. Her only complaint is the voice speaks fast. Her old one spoke slower and pronounced better. But over all she loves it.

The automated voice is terrible, hard to understand and tells you the time in a very backwards confusing way. My mother has to play it over and over and over trying to understand it. I'm tossing it it is So annoying!

This watch was a very nice looking watch but it was hard to understand the person giving the time. It was for my 93 year old mother with limited eyesight and she would never be able to understand what the time was.I returned.

The watch necklace is a Godsend for my Mother. The chain is long enough so that it isn't choking her and the watch goes with everything she wears. Very nice.
