I picked up this Tape King clear packing tape for moving and shipping boxes, and it has done a great job. The adhesive is strong and once you press it down, the seams stay sealed without peeling up at the edges. At 3.2 mil thick it feels sturdier than the flimsy bargain rolls, so it does not rip or tear in thin strips when you are trying to tape up a heavier box. Each roll is long enough to last through a lot of packages and the 12 roll pack is plenty for moving, storage, or running a small online shop. It works well with standard tape guns and dispensers, and the clarity of the tape keeps labels and writing visible underneath. If you need reliable packing tape that will not let boxes pop open in transit, this set is a very solid choice.

This has to be the best tape in the biz. We use it for wine shipping boxes daily. Good stick to it and very nice thickness. It's a little more expensive than the cheaper tape but well worth it.

I'm one of those people that spends too much time trying to find the best deal - or item - and so you can imagine how things went when I tried finding packing tape! I spent a long time trying to find a decent tape at a great price and I ended up finding this. I'm in awe by how economical Tape King is. The only weird issue it has is that it is LOUD when you try tearing it off the roll. Also, the adhesion is so-so. It's perfect for my purposes and the way I tape boxes because there's a tiny bit of leverage I have to tear tape off if I need to--but it's also not weak enough for me to worry about it coming off (especially because I tape up the sides too). The only time I had a problem was when I was trying to go over a torn spot on the box--for some reason it wasn't really sticking there so I had to put extra tape. Now I'm only worried about it expiring before I can use them all...does tape expire? Who knows.

With a new job offer in a completely different part of the country, a big move is coming up for me. I went to several stores to buy packing supplies and was very surprised at how expensive packing tape has become. I saw this online and, after considering the reviews, I bought a six pack. In a nutshell, a good buy. The tape is thick enough to hold most items, even heavy ones, without wrapping them more than once. I do notice a smell coming from the tape, but it does not really bother me and does dissipate after a while. As far as holding power, I make sure my boxes are free of dust and dirt by quickly wiping them down before using them (especially since they have been in my attic for many years). I also rub down the tape with a hard smooth piece of plastic after putting it on the box. I have many boxes in my garage waiting for the big day and so far they all are holding well. One note, if the tape wraps up on itself, I do find it difficult to restart and edge evenly without some effort, but I figure that this is due to the good holding power fo the glue used. I am extra careful when laying down my tape gun so that this does not happen.

This is not the first time I have purchased Tape King tape. Hands down it is the BEST tape I have used and I have tried them all. Unfortunately, it is not cheap but as we know you pretty much do get what you pay for. The cheaper tapes are not alway cheaper in the end as I have to use at least double and still have issues with packages opening up during shipping. This has made the cheap tape VERY expensive. I almost ALWAYS go for the leasr expensive assuming the quality is comparable. In this case you need to pay a little more in order to buy the least expensive. Tape king stand by itself as far as quality. There is none better that I have used no matter the mils or the length. It sticks and it does not break. As hard as it is to pay more for the same "type" product I have resolved to choose Tape king as my first choice of tape.

I ship a lot I go through tape, I go through a bunch of tape so naturally I don't want to spend more than I have to so I've shopped around tried many many brands suffered many many disappointments until I found Tape King and I've been buying it for years never had a problem until last week. I like the 3.2 ml tape, it's super tough super sticky does not lift it's perfect for what I need. Well they make thinner tape too not everybody needs the heavy duty kind like me. Long story short I got a box of the thinner tape, not a big deal I shot a quick email off was told to expect a reply in a couple days but it was more like a couple minutes, they took care of it so quick I was actually surprised. Seriously you can pay a lot more but Tape King has a really good product AND customer service is a dream, big shout out to Sam, amazing person to deal with.

Good strong tape

Had been looking for a strong thick tape for moving boxes as most tapes are very thin. Gave this one a try and was not disappointed. Plenty of tape on a roll which was a perfect fit for the tape dispenser. Stuck really well, even over old tape. The thickness proved to be great and lasted well even with boxes being slid over van floors. It may be a a bit more expensive than others but can thoroughly recommend it for the great value it represents.

Tape King makes best tapes out there but this one I am not really impressed with. It’s expensive but due to its thickness, it comes off quite easily. It’s really hard to manage especially with tape gun as well. Speed was much better with thinner tape so we tried this thick tape but we will never use this again.

Tape king did a 3 inch wide tape, it was excellent. This stuff, 2 inch, lifts very easy. Not really happy and wish the supply of 3 inch was there.
