4Sisters - Authentic Short Grain Japonica Sushi Rice - Sustainably Grown - Women Owned - Farm to Table - 2lb

Gosh, this was good! I loved it. This is my first time buying Japonica short grained rice so I am not qualified to compare/contrast to others of its kind but it was delicious. My sushi was great. We also had rice on its own; I added the rice vinegar solution to it and I’ll never eat rice any other way (1/4 cup rice vinegar, 1tb of sugar, 1/4 teaspoon sea salt cooked on stove and poured over rice). I grew up typically Mid-Atlantic where we put butter and salt on long grain rice. This short rice will remain my go-to. I’m one of four sisters and figured it had to be good. 👑👑👑👑 Thanks, Four Sisters!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Made in the USA by a family. It feels nurturing to order from them. Taste: Pure and clean. Quality: I appreciate the taste of this rice. Plus, it's produced here in the USA. The directions are so helpful!

Very good but the price is more than a little high for the quantity

The soft plastic rice container was shipped by Amazon in a soft plastic bag. The rice container didn't make it in tact. Rather, substantial rice fell out of the container into the Amazon bag. I've yet to cook the rice, I'm sure it's fine. So this review is more for the 4Sisters company to know what Amazon is doing re: shipping their product, and mostly for Amazon to consider better shipping choices of such a product. This rice cooked up so nice. With more water I got rice that stays together better for making California roll. And with less water I got a very nice rice to pair with other dinner ingredients. It’s a very clean rice—didn’t find any things besides rice.
