Many years ago, I stopped using listerine because it was making either my gums, or the inside of my mouth, peel/shed (not sure what to call it). It was strange, I would pull these smily stands, or whatnot, out of my mouth, from the crevice in-between the cheek and gums. It wasn't painful or anything. I didn't know what was causing it. I stopped using listerine, just as my first "process of elimination" guess, and the issue immediately stopped. Anyhow, years later, I thought I would try this mouthwash to improve my gum health, also knowing I could be taking a chance at the strange peeling happening again. Well, I have gone thru this entire bottle now, and everything is fine! And most importantly, I think my gums are also healthier. I am glad I decided to give this a shot. I will definitely be using this for a very long time. I hope this helps someone that knows exactly what i am talking about/has had a similar experience.

This mouthwash saved me when I had gingivitis for the first time and I was totally panicked and feeling helpless. I came across this at a Dollar General while emergency shopping for anything that would help me, and it worked for me, now I buy the big bottles here on Amazon. I believe the bottle when it says it improves gum health. It is on the harsh side so it does sting and burn and it also stains my teeth a dark color, but my dental hygienist is able to remove those stains during my cleanings.
