Great addition to the pottery wheel kit.

I got this pottery wheel for my nephew, and let’s just say—it was the best (and messiest) gift ever. He absolutely loves it! The wheel spins smoothly, and it’s surprisingly sturdy for a kid’s pottery set. Watching him create abstract masterpieces (AKA lumpy bowls and wobbly cups) has been both hilarious and heartwarming. Yes, clay ended up everywhere. Yes, I may have found some in my hair days later. But the joy on his face made it all worth it. If you’re looking for a fun, creative gift that keeps little hands busy (and slightly covered in clay), this is a winner. Just maybe grab some extra wipes… and a tarp. Good luck to my sister in law.

This expansion pack is a must if you have the National Geographic pottery wheel. The extra tools are great for adding fun designs to your clay. It is especially nice to have a roller for when you are wanting thin clay for your project. My daughter loves it and uses it multiple times a week. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is serious about using the pottery wheel

Very awesome gift to give to someone that is very creative and loves arts and crafts. Easy to use easy to follow instructions. This allows for great memories to be created.

I recently purchased the National Geographic Pottery Wheel Kit and have found it to be a bit of a mixed experience. While it offers a great opportunity for creativity, it does come with some challenges. First and foremost, the kit is quite messy. Working with the clay can get everywhere, and cleanup requires a good amount of effort. It's definitely a project that requires a dedicated space where a bit of mess is okay. The kit does not include a wheel, but it’s a fun way to introduce pottery to kids or beginners. Just be prepared for a bit of a mess. Overall, the National Geographic Pottery Wheel Kit is a decent product if you're willing to deal with the mess and take the time to learn. It's a fun and creative activity, but not without its challenges.

Sólo es muy frágil y se rompe cuando se seca

La arcilla y los utensilios pésimos. Para empezar, la arcilla estaba muy seca y muy difícil de formar. Por más que intentamos hidratarla, no fue posible hacer uso de ella. Gracias a que compramos unos paquetes extra de arcilla (de otra marca) pudimos "continuar" con la actividad. Sin embargo los utensilios de madera para formar y cortar son tan básicos que es mejor usar tus propias manos. Pensé que tener un kit sería conveniente y entretenido pero terminó siendo un poco frustrarte. Gran actividad de manualidades pero no recomiendo el kit.

La arcilla que trae este set es horrible, nunca endurece, pese que dice que en un día lo hará, lo dejamos secar más días y aún así no funcionó, además, manipularla es un fastidio. Lo único rescatable son las herramientas, pero incluso el rodillo funciona muy apenas. No lo recomendaría, es mejor comprar las herramientas en una papelería o algo así, además por el costo que tiene que tenga tantas fallas me parece una estafa.
