I bought this product and was delivered on Friday 29th Nov. On our very first tow the rail snapped rendering the product completely useless. Was so disappointed as had my eye on this product for a while and I thought it was going to be so good. It's such a shame as it's such a good method

The cord frayed after 4 uses and now sticks and will no longer return back into the case

This product is not easy to install and does not remain stable on the kids bikes. The tension on the string is not high enough to support the cycling. I would not recommend that product.

The biggest challenge with these tow ropes is learning how to use it. You must be able to communicate with your kid to actually pedal up the hills otherwise your heart rate will quickly max out. Lol. I’d also recommend to keep the speed of the ride relatively low as it takes extra time for you to communicate that you are stopping or changing direction and then takes time for your kid to react. I used it to reduce the moaning when going uphill but found that using it on the flat to increase your pace is not really the point of a ride with your kid. There is something wonderful about taking time on a ride to stop and throw sticks in the stream and watch them float away. Going slow can be a nice change.
