LEGO 42112 Technic Concrete Mixer Truck Toy Construction Vehicle

Another brilliantly designed Lego Technic set. My son absolutely loved this and quickly escalated it to his favourite Lego set (he's 13). The build was fun and a little challenging. He made mistakes but was able to go back and rectify them.The gear mechanism is simple but effective. It allows the drum to spin while moving or not and the crank allows you to manually turn the drum to dispense little concrete blocks.Highly recommended if you're into Technic.

I bought this for my husband who is Lego technic mad. He really likes the challenge of technic ( he was an engineer) and saves up to buy the really big sets. At 1163 pieces this was a medium set for him but he enjoyed building it. It has the usual technic pieces that enable the model to function once completed. You can steer the wheels, rotate the concrete drum - both in stationary and moving scenarios, and empty the drum of the little brick spacers that are provided for inside. He didn’t have any issues with the instructions and it came with all the pieces. It would be suitable for the recommended age range or even younger with parental supervision or a younger child with past technic experience. Lego is expensive, there’s no argument on that score, but you are buying a toy that lasts forever, has multiple applications if your child owns other bricks and could start a lifetime obsession ( my hubby is 78). He says he enjoyed this set a will enjoy building it again in the future so I would definitely recommend it.

Happy with lego every time, they can't be disappointing! Kept all my family busy and it was great to see my teenage son working together with his father and younger brothers for ages building it and being happy about their success! ❤️

Spent a long time building this, an ongoing project . One of the sturdier Lego kit I have made i.e. it bits don't drop off when picked up. The rotating mixer is fun and my grandchildren and nephews etc will love it.

colour is not allways clear in the instructions, but the rest of them are very good and easy to follow. it is good to build and end product looks good.
