Shop Self Adhesive Magnetic Tape 12mm x 10mtr side B. Free delivery on eligible orders of £20 or more. Review: Great product - This is not a fancy 3M magnetic strip but as I suspected it does the job. 12mm wide magnetic strip that is not super strong but if enough of the strip is used it will carry a light load. If using A and B then it will be much stronger of course. I just used one side of magnetic on metal to hold up foam insulation on a metal fireplace. The adhesive is good and the magnetic strips are perfect. Having 10metres meant I could really go to town ensuring the foam would stay up. Review: Perfect for fly screens - I upped my game on creating flyscreens this year. Up until now I've used velcro but saw magnetic tape mentioned in a review for the flyscreen mesh itself so figured I'd give it a go. This is perfect, sticks well to UPVC and has also has stuck well to the mesh although I may add a couple of staples or extra glue to ensure it lasts all summer as mesh isn't generally an ideal surface to stick to. When you use velcro the screens are harder to open so when you want to open/close the window it can sometimes pull the velcro away from the mesh/window but with this magnetic tape it's a breeze as you're not having to rip it apart. (see short video) You have to buy the Tape A and Tape B separately - it would be nice if they came as a pack - but less than 6 quid is a really good price for a 10 metre roll especially with free postage. I managed to do 4 top windows out of this roll and I've ordered a second batch for remaining windows I need to do. 10 metres sounded a lot when ordering but I really should have measured around all the windows first as my smallest window (pictured) took 220cm of a roll which surprised me a little! It's easy to cut and it did let me pull away from window to adjust it when I was putting it up as I'd not immediately pressed it down firmly, just lightly laid in on the surface. I'm happy to recommend this tape, it does exactly what I need it to and it does it well. I'll report back in a couple of months on how it lasts. (I've added this review to both Tape A and Tape B purchases)

Used to fix secondary double glazing sheets in place
I used this tape (remember, you will need to buy a roll of A and a roll of B) to fit removable 3mm acrylic sheets to opening windows for secondary double glazing. A few things to bear in mind: - The magnetic strength of this tape isn't that good. Limit your acrylic sheet to 3mm and don't attempt to fit big sheets in place. This tape is ok for smaller 1/4 light openers but not for big panels. - Ensure that the frame surface is perfectly level and clean. If the frame isn't level all round you won't get a good seal and the sheet may slip out of place. To get an even better seal on uneven frames, apply one or two layers of double sided tape first, to give the magnetic tape a better adhesion surface. - If your frame surface isn't very level, apply a very thin layer of Evo-stick glue and let it set for 20-30 mins for extra adhesion for the tape. Don't apply it too thickly, a very thin layer is all you need! - Mark your roll of A and B so that you will always apply the correct tape in the correct order Once you've done your preparation, peel back one side of the protective film on your acrylic sheet and apply a run of type A around the perimeter of the sheet. Then apply the similar type B on top of this layer (it will settle itself on top very well), ensuring that you don't leave any gaps. Then remove the backing tape from the B tape layer - it's easy to remove using the point of a sharp craft knife. Mate your acrylic sheet to the opener, starting at the bottom and ensure that it's all level. Then press the edge of the sheet down all around using a soft microfibre cloth to ensure a good adhesive seal. Enjoy your draught-free windows!

Good, but thick.
Great...except much thicker than anticipated. I wanted thin Barrow tape. This is narrow but the thickness makes it quite heavy.

Omg where has this been all my life?!
I just want to say before I rave about this product, is that I felt like buying A & B was slightly cheeky as when I was assembling this, roll A was sticking to each other on the magnet side.. so I'm not sure if roll B was necessary but oh well I've brought it now so it doesnt matter. Anyways, this is an absolute lifesaver! I used to have velcro and it was an absolute nightmare and mess and kept coming off the mesh etc. I brought new mesh and started all over again. I am so so sooooo happy this exists! I cant believe I've gone all my life being a wuss about bugs when this exists! I'm able to open my windows in summer and enjoy that breeze, I could even keep it open during those hot nights to keep to room temperature ideal for me and baby! As the photo shows, there is a section on my window where there is a little vent thing, but I was able to just about fit the tape above that vent to completely seal any change a bug has to get into my room! I'm so happy, for the first time in years I can open both windows and enjoy the breeze without panic! This is literally one of my favourite things I've brought this year! Thank youuuu!!! 😁😁😁

Perfect for the classroom!
I have purchased this magnetic tape numerous times over the last few years. It is really durable and long lasting. I never have to replace it during the school year. It is really easy to cut with normal scissors and the backing peels off easily...even if the static does make it stick to your fingers afterwards! A tip for use on smaller items, before you stick it down (with the backing still on) bend the tape back on itself to remove the natural bend it has acquired from being rolled up. This means that it won't cause your items (like classroom labels) to bend or curve in the same direction. I have used this in a variety of situations such as on whiteboards, display boards and metal storage cupboards. Easy to attach and stable once in place. The magnets hold strong enough to avoid wobble but will allow easy repositioning.
